This is my first time staying at a traditional Japanese machiya, and I am very satisfied with the experience!!!The small courtyard at the entrance is very beautiful, and you can feel that it has been carefully organized.Since the weather was still a bit cold when we checked in, the floor heating was already on as soon as we stepped on the floor of the house, which was very considerate.The dining table and kitchen area are very clean, and all kitchen utensils are carefully stored in the cabinets under the kitchen!!! There is a medium-sized refrigerator on the right side of the kitchen, and a microwave and toaster are placed above, which is very convenient!!!There is a box placed on the small table in the living room. There is an instruction manual inside that carefully introduces the operation methods of each electrical appliance. Don't worry about not knowing how to operate it.The accommodation has a washing machine with drying function and comes with free detergent.The bathroom has a toilet heater, and the bathtub is very large. If you need to take a bath, the hot water has a constant temperature setting, which is great!!!Choya Gosho Minami has Japanese-style and Western-style rooms (2 beds), so if you have older family members, this accommodation is very suitable!! (Stairs need to be climbed)Finally, I would like to thank the staff at the CHECK IN window for their attentive service and explanation. If I travel to Kyoto next time, I will choose your company to stay again!!!

A good accommodation for training camps with a large number of people.However, the number of Wi-Fi connections at the inn seems to be small, so we need to add a mobile router when we all use computers.Also, as is expected for a modern hotel, the smoking room is quite far away, so smokers should be careful.

I used it on a group trip with friends!The room was clean and very comfortableBecause I usually travel in groups,With the hope that things will get better,This time I dare to think of somethingI will write down some points that come to mind.〈Good〉・Just beautiful- Fully equipped with washing machines, irons, etc.・There is no parking lot, but there is a coin parking lot right in front.・There is a mini kitchen so you can cook simple meals.・Staff are kind・Location is very difficult to understand・Poor access・Weak air conditioning system・I want a shower room・TV and bed are small-summary-Anyway, the room is clean!To say that it doesn't feel typical of a townhouse would be to say that, but if you're in a group that includes women, clean bathrooms and toilets are a big plus.In addition, it is fully equipped with facilities such as a mini-kitchen, washing machine, iron, etc. to accommodate long stays.The staff were also very kind and polite, and I was very grateful that they answered all my questions before making the reservation.In terms of areas for improvement, the main one is the location!I managed to get there using Google Maps and the map you receive when making a reservation, but since check-in was in the evening, there were no signboards or signs, and it was difficult to find the place as I had to walk down a side street in a residential area to get to the inn.As for the facilities, it would have been nice to have a separate shower room. It was a little difficult just to use one bath as a group (lol)I wrote various things,Overall, I would like to stay there again.It was a very nice stay!Thank you again (^^)
