There were a lot of people staying there, so it was fun to be able to talk to them in the living room.

We stayed 6 nights.It's located just behind the mangrove forest, which was fantastic, and Toru-san is super relaxed and kind.He mentioned about the 5 days bus tickets on the island when we arrived and it was a great tip.The bus stop is located just in front us the guest house.He was really helpful and also when a typhoon hit the island and when we all got stuck inside, he made delicious curry rice for all of us. He also offered us tea, and fruits and he was very thoughtful.The guest there were also very interesting and we enjoyed talking with them as well.The lady there also offered delicious Shrimp chips and we just really had a great time with people there.We used the bicycles there twice and we enjoyed cycling.We rented the kayak too and was a stunning experience.My husband seemed also super happy.We had to catch our bus, and couldn't find him and couldn't say thank you and goodbye directly to him.Thank you so much for hosting us!ありがとうございました！

The owner was a nice person. It's in a good location, about a 1-2 minute walk from the Miyarabashi bus stop.Breakfast service is included and kayak rentals are also available. The back of the inn is already a mangrove forest, making it a great place for activities!

Loved our stay at Guest House Suntoru. Very reasonably priced, which included breakfast every morning. The owner is so friendly and helpful and speaks great English. We borrowed snorkels every day to explore all of the reefs around the island. The guest house is located just off one of the main roads which makes getting around super easy - whether you're going into the main town or exploring the quieter parts of the island.

The host was a very nice person. I was able to rent a bicycle near the bus stop, so I was able to go to a convenience store. Best of all, it was cheap and I was able to rent a kayak at a cheap price! The breakfast was delicious and I would like to visit you again.

Staying at Toru's home for the week reminded me of staying at my own family's. Not only does he make you feel very welcome in his home, I felt really taken care of too. The hospitality and huge amount of warmth and kindness from Toru made my stay in Ishigaki extra special. I will definitely be back.(As for the location, it is beautifully rural and there's a reliable airport limousine bus that will take you to the airport in 15 minutes and to the port to visit other islands in 30 minutes.)Staying at Tooru's house for a week felt like staying at my parents' house. The owner himself welcomed us into his home and took great care of us. Thanks to Mr. Toru's warm and kind hospitality, our trip to Ishigaki Island became an even more special memory. I would love to visit again.

I stayed for one night in late September.It was in front of the Miyara Higashi bus stop, so it was very easy to access.The host seemed to be managing the room by himself, so it wasn't a clean room, but it was a good enough accommodation for a solo traveler.The owner also talked to me from a reasonable distance, and I was happy with the toast and hamburger steak provided for breakfast.
