Perhaps because of all the efforts they have made during this difficult time due to the coronavirus pandemic, I made a reservation for lunch with a bath, and everyone was on time from the moment I met them, the room was nice, and the bath was privately reserved, with an open-air bath. The food is a course meal, the ingredients are good, and the cost performance is great! I visited twice, but I want to go again and again.

I visited him on my first trip. This may sound harsh, but I'll be honest. The construction of the building was wonderful as you can see in the photo, but the hospitality was not so good. The flowers in the room were placed in vases and tilted, and the flowers in the bathroom were artificial. It was also displayed in the toilet, but it is withered and unfortunately. I was provided with a yukata, so I wore it, but on the second day I was given the wrong size. Also, the equipment in the room was a little dusty, which is also disappointing. On the way home, I sent my baggage through the front desk, but it was labeled incorrectly and contained the wrong contents. To be honest, if you ask me if I would like to use it again, I wouldn't mind.

I was part of a private tour and our last night in Kyoto together was at the Kaden restaurant. The meal was fabulous. Each course was more spectacular than the other.  …

Excellent location close to a Subway station and in a neighborhood with lots of bakeries, cafés and restaurants. The Ryokan is also not far from Teramachi and all department stores. The entrance is quite impressive with waters, rocks etc. Room was very big, typically Japanese and with many convenient amenities (e.g. automatic boiler, fresh water). The public bathrooms were great. Staff was extremely polite and helpful every instance. Kaiseiki dinner and breakfast were excellent. The only negative point was perhaps the dining room which was not very traditional (tatatmi with western-height chairs).
