It was my first time staying at Pontoon (^.^)The weather wasn't sunny and I only stayed for two nights, but I was satisfied with the wonderful room and view!The owner who welcomed us was also kind and had a good atmosphere, which made me feel at ease (^^)Please let us know the details of the room and the equipment (in good condition).The room is nice, but the balcony space on the second floor is also nice ♪During the day, I could see the beautiful ocean right in front of me, and at night, I could see the lights in the center of the city in the distance, and I thought it would have been even more wonderful if I could see the starry sky (^.^) )Furthermore, the rooftop space on the 3rd floor is also amazing♪I didn't cook or have a barbecue this time, but next time I'd like to do it here without eating out (^^)It's confirmed to be a repeat!The timing is early December 2023The weather is mostly cloudyTemperatures range from 18 degrees to 23 degreesI was able to spend time without air conditioning.

I stayed for 2 nights with a friend from my girls' high school.A luxurious floor plan for renting a whole house!Two bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, a Japanese-style room with tatami mats, and a balcony overlooking the ocean.If you go further up, you will see another spectacular rooftop view.Every corner was thoroughly cleaned, and the kitchen was fully equipped with tools so I didn't have any problems.And above all, the hospitality of the owner is truly amazing!On the first day, we had a BBQ on the balcony (a BBQ stove was always available), and the owner helped us start the fire and even cleaned up after the stove, so we were able to fully enjoy the Ishigaki beef. I did it♪In addition, when there was something I didn't understand, the owner responded immediately via LINE, and I am truly grateful for his thoughtfulness.It was so comfortable that just two nights wasn't enough (lol).This time, the rainy season had not yet ended on Ishigaki Island, and the weather was not good, so next time I will come to see the deep blue sky, sea, and bright red sunset from the balcony, and next time I will stay a little longer! The entire rooftop of the second floor of the building can be reserved for private use, and the view of the ocean that stretches out from the living room offers an unparalleled sense of privacy.The owner was also very helpful and provided us with information about the area that was not found in guidebooks.Rather than people who want to do a lot of sightseeing, this is probably the best choice for people who want to relax at an inn and go sightseeing from time to time.However, it is a fair distance from the city, so I think it would be better to have a car.Even as I write about it here, I feel like it would be a waste to tell others about it.I would definitely like to repeat it again.

I stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days.The location, the size of the room, and the sea that spreads out all over.Everything is perfect.It has everything you need and is perfect as a resort vacation home.I think this is the kind of inn that conveys the owner's desire to make his guests happy.Recommended!

I stayed here using a hometown tax donation coupon. It was a short stay of 3 nights, but the weather was nice, so I spent my time looking at the wonderful sea in front of me.The full kitchen is wonderful and has almost all the seasonings (some of which are left behind by guests who have stayed), so if you are planning to cook, it is better to check what you have before going shopping. .Cleaning is also perfect. From fluffy towels, audio equipment, games, beach mats to floats. You can also rent a snorkel set if you need it. It kind of feels like a cottage being raised by the people who stayed there.On the last day, I bought some Ishigaki beef from the butcher shop I had been told about, and although the wind was strong, I put up a wind shield on the stove and did my best to have a BBQ. There are many Aeon supermarkets, so you can buy cut vegetables.There was also a washing machine and dryer, which was a big plus for those who love playing in the water.I can't wait to go again. Thank you very much to the owner.✧*｡٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و✧*｡

Thank you for staying with us for 7 nights. Unfortunately, the weather was bad, but the host was very kind, and without being too intrusive, we had a very comfortable stay. The room is spacious and clean, and the view from the window is amazing. I would like to have the opportunity to stay again.

The room was cleaner and more comfortable than I expected, and the owners were very kind. You can see the blue sea of Yaeyama and Taketomi Island from the large windows on two sides. The owner told us a lot of recommended restaurants and shops, so we didn't need a guidebook. The rooms are fully equipped with facilities and supplies, so we recommend having a relaxing meal in your room or having a BBQ on the balcony. I would definitely like to use it again when I visit Ishigaki!

The scenery, facilities, and location were all in place, and we had a very comfortable and luxurious week there.From the living room, terrace, and rooftop, I was able to fully enjoy the deep blue sea in front of me. The room had a high ceiling and was spacious, making it a really nice space.Although we were staying with two infants, we were grateful that they had everything from children's chairs, bed guards, life jackets, and sandbox sets to us.If you have children with you, you will have to do laundry more often, but it is convenient to be able to freely use the bathroom and dryer. The kitchen was fully equipped, so I was able to eat meals in the comfort of my room.At my child's request, we had a BBQ on the terrace two days in a row, and the owner was very helpful in starting the fire and cleaning up afterwards.They also told me about other recommended restaurants, lent me snorkel sets and tents when I went out to sea, and all the warm hospitality I received made my trip even more comfortable and wonderful. Ta.It was so wonderful that I wanted to keep it a secret (lol) but I would definitely like to visit again.thank you very much!

Stayed for 7 nights and 8 days with 4 adults and 2 children. I've been to Ishigaki Island many times, but this was the most relaxing accommodation I've ever stayed in. The view is amazing, the rooms are spacious, and most of all, the cleanliness is amazing. The owner said that the building itself was old, but it was kept clean from top to bottom so that it didn't feel old, so I felt comfortable. A cleaning robot did the daily cleaning. You can use the washing machine in the bathroom to dry your laundry on the balcony, or you can hang it in the bathroom and dry it in a high-quality dehumidifier.There is also a dryer in the parking lot on the first floor. You can use it. This was a great help as I had a lot of laundry to do after going to the beach. We had BBQ on the terrace three times, and the owner took care of cleaning up the BBQ table. They are very kind, like recommending a butcher shop when we have a BBQ, or lending us snorkeling gear when we go out to sea. I was able to communicate with the owner easily through SNS. He also showed up to see me when I went out, and we were able to communicate frequently. Up until now, in hotels, I felt like I couldn't relax because I had to wear shoes or only had a bedroom, but at Pontoon I was able to relax as if I were at home. I am very grateful for your willingness to accept me at a time like this. We would definitely like to use you again when visiting Ishigaki Island.

The owner is a very nice person. I stayed for a week and it was as comfortable as staying at my own home. The 3-burner gas system kitchen is fully equipped with a large dishwasher, oven range, tableware and kitchen utensils. There are washing machines, dryers, and even powerful dehumidifiers. Each bedroom has an air purifier. There is also ample storage. Cards, soccer games, Othello, and mini table tennis for rainy days. For playing in the sea, we have floating rings, sand play sets, life jackets for children, leisure sheets, cooler boxes, etc.Eating on the deck in front of the living room while looking out at the sea is the ultimate luxury. There are also barbecue equipment on the deck, and you can also use the charcoal barbecue or cassette stove to make hotpots and grilled meat. In addition, the large rooftop has an awning, table and chairs, and folding chairs to lie down on, so it's great to see the night sky, and of course, you can relax while looking at the beautiful sea both morning and afternoon. It's a popular accommodation and it's hard to get reservations in the summer, but I definitely want to stay there next time.

The best & high!The sea 🏝 seen from the big window is so beautiful!Equipped with a barbecue set and Bluetooth audio, we ate Ishigaki beef while listening to the beautiful sea and the best music, and all five senses felt happy ☺️Also, the owner and his wife were very kind and even cut the fish 🐟 that we caught while fishing on the boat!We had a great 3 days at Pontoon! One of the best places we’ve stayed during our Japan trip. Nice long walk starting just in front of this place up to the light house. The balcony opens the view over Taketomi island. Nice cafe just beside the corner. Extra parking place for guests. Gas and charcoal BBQ on the balcony for your perfect fresh tuna steaks.
