Used in mid-September 2024.My sons seemed to have fun using the free site in the summer to play athletics (400 yen for children) and tennis (charged), so this time they stayed in a log house for 2 nights and 3 days for the first time in their lives. We were in log house number 4, and the moment we opened the door, there was a strong smell of mold.We left the windows and doors open from 5pm until 9pm when we arrived, but the smell didn't go away at all, so we had to wear masks. Even though I slept with it on, I still had a runny nose and a headache in the morning. On the way home, I asked the receptionist, ``Are log houses that moldy? When I asked him, ``I'm cleaning.'' If you feel that way, then yes,' he said. I'll check it out, but there was no response. The tragedy begins here: sleeping bags, inflator mats, pillows, clothes, shoes, bags, chargers, etc.Everything in the log house had a moldy smell on it, and while some of the things I could wash got rid of the smell, there were others that couldn't be removed, so I decided to throw them away. A loss of over 100,000 yen. I brought my luggage home in my car that smelled of mold, so the inside of my car also smelled of mold.I didn't expect mold to be so scary, and I learned a lot from it.If you are in log house number 4, please be prepared.Campgrounds should deal with mold rather than saying, ``If it feels like that, then it is.''The inside of the log house is about 3.5 meters x 3.5 meters, has two outlets, and is dimly lit.

2024/08Cleanliness★★☆☆☆ So-soPrice★★★★★ Cheap!Scenery ★★☆☆☆ Depends on the viewing directionEnvironment ★★★☆☆ Close to bath(This is just a personal evaluation)Used for overnight camping. This is a very cheap camping site with no limit on the number of people, and a tent costs 800 yen and a tarp costs 500 yen.It is basically a forest site with slopes.Luggage is transported in and out using a cart.Take your trash home. The administration building is open from 8:00 to 21:00, and the only toilets here are washlet type. There are bath facilities within walking distance. Adults 700 yen.Check out is at 10am. It seems like they open early for check-in, so if you want to get a good spot, I recommend checking in early. The entire site is sloped, making it difficult to decide where to pitch your tent. The lawn is bald, with soil sticking out in many places, and there are tree roots all over the place, so be careful when pegging. The clientele is families, as there is an athletic field nearby. I felt that there were a lot of people with bad manners as there was no patrolling by the manager. (Clogging the drain in the kitchen. Talking in a voice loud enough to be heard by those around you until midnight. Singing songs in the middle of the night. Working from 5 a.m. as if it were daytime. Leaving trash behind and taking it away, etc.)Also, there is some traffic on the road in front of the hotel even late at night.

Almost half of the areas where you can pitch your tent are on slopes, so if you want to camp here, it's best to get there earlier than other people, check in, and secure a flat spot.

The cottage was spacious. There was also a futon! However, there are no cooking utensils. It was quiet at night.Children seemed to enjoy athletics. It's also quite scary. There are a lot of insects.Apparently the nearby baths are closed in June, so I thought I'd better check.

I used it in winterThe site was a bit strange as there was only a slope. Also, there is a long distance from the parking lot to the site, so it is difficult to carry it.I wonder if there will be a repeat?

This is my second time using the tent site. The campsite is well maintained, and the kitchen and toilets are clean and very nice. Most of the site is on a gentle slope, with only a few flat spots. Also, since it feels like a campsite in the woods, there are many areas that are not leveled, but there are lawns.Campsites that are divided into sections and conveniently equipped with electricity are nice, but Toma really likes the atmosphere that takes advantage of the natural environment. There is also a field athletics facility, so the children will be happy to play, so they won't get bored. There is also a hot spring nearby, which is very convenient.Nighttime noise is a problem at all campgrounds, but unfortunately it seems to be Toma as well. This time, it was nice and quiet...
