I stayed with my family in this corner of paradise for a week. I was treated like a son and I have to thank Ecchan and his entire family for the kindness and courtesy with which they helped us. I will carry all of them together with this place forever in my heart. I love you 😘

Today's accommodation is Maru, a home on the main island of Ishigaki Island.We had a light meal in our room while snacking on sashimi purchased at Maruhiro Fresh Fish in Ishigaki Island City.Sashimi of sunfish and machi, and tempura of fish that looks like tuna.Everything was delicious and filling.The beach right next to the inn is almost a private beach.The fine sand and sunset make this a hidden gem.Ishigaki Island also seems to have a lot of depth.

Me and my family have been coming back every year since 2016 and we love it. It is a great place to unwind and you basically have the long beach all to yourself. 20 minute ride with car to Ishigaki Town. The room we have nothing to complain about, 4 people stay comfortable. Normal size refrigirator/freezer and everything you need to cook your meals with stove. Easy to take car to town if one feel like not cooking. What also makes us come back is the absolutely lovely owners who always are helpful and friendly. Every night after 9pm until 11pm they serve light local specials and to drink Okinawan shochu. All guest are invited if they want. It is very casual and relaxing. Not so much English but that is not a problem , I have meet several non Japanese speakers and it was alright. Gonna unwind there for a week next summer again!

We had a great stay and are sad to leave. Many thanks to Ecchan and his family who were lovely. They welcomed us like kings and gave us valuable advice on how to enjoy the island. We spent very good evenings with them and were able to taste delicious dishes that Ecchan offered us.The nearby beach is magnificent and very quiet, we were able to enjoy the sunset every evening. The accommodation is very clean and functional. Everything comes together for an excellent, relaxing stay in a magnificent setting. THANKS !!

We've been traveling 2 months around japan and in this place we truly felt at home thanks to Ecchan, her family and the neighbours as well.Ecchan made us enjoy local food and drinks as well as giving us advice on what to do and where to go.Everyday we were able to enjoy the sunset on the private beach behind the house which were wonderful and soothing.The house was clean and well organized.If you want to spend some days on Ishigaki this is the best place you could go to have a genuine and happy stay.

Thank you for your help for 3 days from March 29th. The weather on Ishigaki Island for the first time was mostly cloudy, but it was really fun. I can't wait for Yuntaku at night. Sapp was fun too! I want to go again!Also, I will go to Osaka to say something (^o^) (lol)I am grateful to Ecchan, Acchan, and Yuuchan for their connections. I really wanted to meet my dad too.

private beach2 people per room, around 8000 yen per personThere are many kinds of sea activities.Private beach was nice.Pets OK,It's the perfect location for photographing the stars. It is said that the Milky Way can be seen with the naked eye in summer.

My partner and I went in June. Ecchan and his family are adorable, they welcomed us as if we were one of the family. Despite not sharing the same language, we were able to understand each other at all times. The nights watching the stars and sharing 泡盛 and lots of laughter. The experience has been incredible.The private beach is magnificent and super quiet.We will miss the cat まる.

It is a quiet and peaceful inn surrounded by nature, right next to the beach and where you can enjoy playing in the sea. The kind and warm hospitality of your family and the cute cats will soothe you.

We didn’t stay here, but we visited the beach in their private property.The owner was very kind, and let us swim at their beautiful beach.The hotel seemed quite nice and good for large groups.The road is quite rough - that’s all I would say.

It comes with a kitchen, and the bath, toilet, and sink are separate and comfortable.There's also a loft and it's very relaxing.There are tatami mats and a chabudai, so it has a warm Showa feel. There is also a washing machine and dryer, which is convenient.The owner, Ecchan, was very friendly and brought side dishes, which were very delicious. The beach was just a short walk away and it was private, so I was able to go see the stars at night. When I left, my family saw me off, and I was deeply moved by their warm consideration. I would like to use it again!

The warm owner Ecchan, the cute dog Mozuku, the neighbor's dog Niebui, the clean and warm accommodation, the private beach, everything was amazing!It feels like I'm traveling as if I were living there. I already miss relaxing and having a barbecue on the terrace of my room and watching the sunset.I'll be back again ♡Highly recommended if you are going to Ishigaki Island :)

I think it was 5 years ago that I was looking for a white beach for a photoshoot and even though I ended up entering by mistake, they kindly showed me around!Since then, I have stopped by every time I visit Ishigaki Island. The owner's family chose this location from Hokkaido and moved there. They are very friendly and kind to everyone.I would like to give it 5 stars, but I haven't actually stayed there yet. It was like a private beach with blue skies, crystal clear water, white sand, and several green flashes.I'll stay the night next time!
