Our stay at Beach Side House alohana was absolutely amazing. We stayed for 4 nights in March and we had such a wonderful time. We loved everything about the house, the location, the delicious breakfast every morning and most importantly our wonderful hosts who made sure that our stay was perfect.Thank you for an unforgettable experience!We can't wait to come back!

I stayed with you for 3 nights on my honeymoon at the end of February. It was a very quiet environment, close to the sea, and I had a lot of fun interacting with cute Lana and Kiki 🐶🐱It was a wonderful time to experience the slow flow of time. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience. I definitely want to come again.

I am so grateful to you for not only living up to my expectations from the beautiful photos on your website but also for providing a more comfortable space.The room is clean and has an open feel.When I went out and came home, the shutters were closed and the lights were turned on at my feet. Flowers were blooming in the beautiful garden, and we even saw fireflies. You can also enjoy the starry sky.The beauty of the nearby beach was also impressive.Also, thank you to the smart Lana-chan for guiding me to the beach and giving me solace, making my stay stress-free😊

We enjoyed an absolutely fantastic 6-night stay in mid-December 2021. The owners were the most hospitable of hosts from the moment we arrived right up until we drove away on our final day.The foliage around the bungalow has grown considerably since some of the photos in these reviews so you are truly tucked away in a private jungle oasis. The beach is about a 5-minute walk away.The highlight of our stay was our daily breakfast- lovingly and artistically prepared and delivered to our verandah each morning. They alternated Japanese and Western-style breakfasts and cater to vegetarians. Breakfast was accompanied by a daily report of weather, tides and local events (as well as a visit from their sweet dog, Lana).Note that this property is located at the north end of the island and so quite a distance from the city. Renting a car is pretty crucial so that you can get around to the various beaches and hikes. We were grateful to be away from the main tourist area and surrounded more by nature, quiet beaches and sweet local businesses.There are a few nice cafes, bakeries and restaurants nearby- some within walking distance. There is also an ambient Italian restaurant about 2.5km away.Highly recommended in Ishigaki.

I stayed for 2 nights, but unfortunately it rained. But I never got bored.Go to a private beach during a rainy day, be fascinated by the various flowers and bananas, feel like an adventurer in the jungle, and be soothed by the cries of frogs, insects, birds, and geckos (!). Swinging in a hammock.I was able to relax and feel like the blood in my body had become clean.Breakfast is wonderful.Each of Mr. Masato's handmade items is vibrant and delicious. It seems as if the ingredients being cooked are enjoying it.Also, for those of us who don't have access to a car, having a shuttle service was very helpful. Feel free to bring us meals etc.During our stay, Mr. Masato and Mr. Miki took care of us so that we could truly enjoy ourselves, so we felt at ease, and we hope to see them again next year! ! I thought.

The cancellation policy is terrible.Even if a direct flight is canceled, there will be no cancellation fee as long as there is a connecting flight.It should be clearly stated on the site.I had heard in advance that if the flight was cancelled, I would receive a full refund.I informed them that the direct flight I had booked had been cancelled.There are seats available on flights via Naha, so cancellations are not possible.I was told.I told him that since I have a small child, it would be difficult for me to take a connecting flight.Other families are also coming here with children around the same age, so they should be able to come!He asked me very persistently to come to the stone wall.I can't seem to get a refund.Finally, I'll call the airline, so please give me your reservation number.He called me without permission and tried to make a reservation for a connecting flight on my behalf.This is a privately run accommodation facility, not a large hotel.I understand their reluctance to pay cancellation fees in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, but that response was terrible.

The best experience in Ishigaki and I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else but here, while on the island. Masato, Miki and family + 🐶 were quite possibly the nicest people in Japan and the location is out of this world. We didn’t have a car but the family is very accommodating and helpful to make necessary arrangements. Beautiful night view of the Milky Way. Bugs will be your friends in the house but nothing harmful. Highly recommend!

In addition to the location and facilities, the owner and his wife (including their children!) will treat you with kindness. This is an inn that we would recommend to all visitors, both domestic and overseas.

A real dream place here on Ishigaki island. The owner couple were very friendly and nice. We were looking forward to the breakfast every day, which was prepared by the owner. There is a private beach just a minute walk from the accommodation. The owner couple, Masa and Miki gave us a lot of good information, which were known only by local people. Especially the BBQ night here was a wonderful memory for us. We just needed to buy the ingredients. They prepared the rest and even set the table so beautiful for us.We will never forget this holiday and will definetly come back once day.

We spent four days in Miki & Masato's paradise. They took great care of us, and prepared king-size breakfasts for us! The beach is a few meters away. Unfortunately we didn't have good weather but we still managed to swim.
