The accommodation I had always wanted to go to was more wonderful than I had imagined. During my stay in February, which included birthday celebrations and Valentine's Day, snow had piled up from the day before, so I gave up on outdoor baths, balconies, and walks along the paths. You can relax while watching the snow falling smoothly from the trees and listening to the sound of the murmuring streams and waterfalls. I bought the ingredients and alcohol for dinner based on the email I received in advance, and then grilled the hotpot, Hida beef, and sausages I bought from the delicatessen in the hearth while I ate my meal. The semi-open-air bath was so cold that I couldn't keep the water warm, so I had to refill the water several times based on my timing. We keep you warm with floor heating and gas fan heaters, so you won't feel cold even in the middle of winter. It's fun to hear the stories from the housekeeper, and as the information on the homepage says, it's an inn where you can enjoy all four seasons, so I'd definitely like to visit again in a different season.

My wife and I used it in July.I came here because I wanted to relax in a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the city.In the end, it was a very correct answer. The rooms are well-equipped and the view of the mountain stream from the terrace. It was lovely.I felt that the concierge who was there upon arrival was very attentive and courteous, as was the way he took the time to guide us.For dinner, we bought Hida beef at the recommended supermarket and had a BBQ.Meals on a trip that are not set-up meals.I enjoyed it more than I expected and was also very satisfied. After checking out, I told the housekeeper that I would like to see the cask as well, and he kindly showed me around. It had a different atmosphere than Fallingsui House, which was also wonderful.I will stop by again.thank you very much.

I stayed here in early April. The room was tastefully decorated with beautiful flowers, tableware, lighting, furniture, etc., and we were able to spend a relaxing and enjoyable time in a calm space. The bath felt so good that I took it many times. It was especially wonderful to take a morning bath while looking at the unseasonably snowy landscape through the glass. We also tried an open-air bath in the snow, and it was a special experience to be in a bath that seemed to be one with the river flowing just below. The children were so happy and having fun that it became one of my good memories ^^The sweetfish grilled in the hearth was fresh and very delicious. More than that, the time I spent slowly grilling the sweetfish in the hearth, watching the situation while adding charcoal and checking the heat, is very precious and I am grateful for it. I don't usually take this much time to eat slowly, so this was a luxurious time! It was a night where I realized the luxury of taking time. For breakfast, I rebaked the delicious bread I bought at a bakery in Takayama city using a Bermuda toaster and ate it with fruit. It was a casual and pleasant morning.Even before I stayed, I was kindly guided by the concierge, and the housekeeper was kind to me during my stay.I felt happy to connect with people, and I feel like Takayama is the place I am now. I'm more interested than ever.During my stay, I fantasized about visiting there again during a different season, so I would like to visit again someday and enjoy the change of seasons.Lastly, what I thought most about when I visited Fallingsuitei was:Previously, when my father had a villa in the mountains, the first thing he did when he arrived at the villa was to clean it, and when he returned home, he had to wash and dry the sheets, which was a lot of work and maintenance. I thought it was great that when you come to the inn, you can spend time as if you were in a villa without having to worry about such troubles. You can enjoy your stay at a much more reasonable cost than owning a villa, so I thought it would be a good idea to use it that way. It's a dream-like fantasy that the villa is right next to a beautiful river ^^

My family and I used it at the end of the year. This is a wonderful house in the middle of a snowy forest, which is different from usual, and you can just relax without having to turn on the TV in the living room, playing in the snow, eating, playing Othello, or taking a semi-open-air bath. I did. I was feeling so good that I regret running out of drinks (lol)Escapes in a good way from work, study, lessons, and housework!Next time I would like to bring more alcohol and drinks.thank you very much.

I used it in early July. From the moment we arrived on the premises, it was an inn that could be described as living in the forest, and we were excited to see the carefully designed furniture and tableware inside. At night, we fell asleep listening to the sounds of the river and nature, and in the morning, we woke up to the sunlight and ate breakfast prepared on the pleasant terrace.I was able to relax both physically and mentally in such a comfortable and extraordinary experience that I completely forgot about my daily life. The sweetfish dish prepared for dinner was delicious and we had a great time.It was such a good inn that 5 stars wasn't enough. When I go there, I would like to spend more time at the inn instead of sightseeing.

After making a reservation, I looked at the website many times and had high expectations, but in reality, the beauty far exceeded the photos.A highly transparent river flows just below the terrace, and the only sounds you can hear are the powerful sound of the river flowing and the voices of birds. While admiring this beautiful scenery, you can rent a gas grill and enjoy barbecue and Nagashi Somen noodles. There is a hammock and an open-air bath on the terrace right next to the river. In the garden on the other side, you can feel the warmth and playfulness of handmade items such as swings.I previously visited ``Sumiya Aoka'' where you can feel like you are living in the city, and the concierge was very kind and polite, and it was a wonderful place that made you want to come back even if you didn't meet face-to-face. This is the person who is.The spirit of hospitality can be felt in every interior design.I visited in early July, and it was comfortable and cool. The image is of breathtakingly beautiful nature and standing close to it.Traveling is my hobby and I have visited many places, but the location, interior, and luxury of renting out a whole house are all truly wonderful, and I can say this is the best inn I've ever been to.

I used it at the end of April. It felt like a villa, surrounded by nature, and I was able to spend a very free time away from everyday life. Great location with rivers and waterfalls flowing right in front of you! It was the best relief!Sumiya Aoka, where I stayed last summer, was very nice, so I was also looking forward to Sumiya Fallingwater House, which was also very nice with a stylish atmosphere full of taste. It makes me feel better! We didn't have dinner, but we had a lot of fun eating Hida beef steak, procuring super thick asparagus from Hida at the supermarket the concierge told us about, and having a BBQ while looking out at the river.I stayed with my husband, but I thought it would be fun to stay with friends. It's about a 30 minute drive from downtown Takayama, so we recommend spending the night in the middle of nature after enjoying the old townscape of Takayama! If you want to stay in the city, Sumiya Aoka-san is also a great option! Both houses are rented out, so you can spend a safe and luxurious time in these times ^^I would definitely like to use it again. It seems that a separate building is also under construction, so I'm looking forward to that as well.
