The bathroom, toilet, and washroom are shared, and you can hear footsteps in the hallway. It was kept clean and the guests were all well-mannered, so I had a comfortable time there. The food is delicious, and the hot springs after climbing are the best! It's not a hot spring full of sulfur, but it has a faint scent, and it was especially pleasant in the open air.No TV. No cell phone signal. There seemed to be a paid Wi-Fi service that used satellites, but I enjoyed the hot springs so much that I didn't need it.

This hot spring inn is located at an altitude of 1,260 meters, and many guests come here to enjoy the nearby 4-hour pond tour and the secret hot springs in the sky. …

This is a secret hot spring located about 10 kilometers along a gravel dirt road from Route 273. The Touring Mapple said it was a flat forest road, but there were a lot of dents due to the rain, so I think it would be a little tough for an on-road bike.

This is a special place. Please reserve early and directly with the hotel. I stayed on September 18-20 for 2 nights. I recommend staying at least 2 nights to experience the magical energy of this place. The onsen is simple but the best. The food was delicious. 2 hiking trails right near the hotel but one was closed due to high bear activity. Please arrive before dark as there is a long narrow unpaved road (about 4-5 miles). You can see the moon and the stars while in the open air bath. It was the best. Also, there is no phone signal and the Wi-Fi connection did not work while I was there - this was not an issue for me and actually made my stay even better, but if this something important to you, then please plan accordingly.

Fall 2024: Stayed here for a tour of the highlands and marshes. The atmosphere inside the hotel is calm, and the staff are courteous and attentive. There is paid WiFi, but there is no mobile communication environment. There's no TV either, but it doesn't really matter because it's a place to enjoy nature. I didn't have high expectations for the food since it was a mountain lodge, but the dinner was of the quality of a Japanese inn and was very delicious. You can bathe in the hot springs as many times as you like except during dinner time, and bathing in the open-air bath while looking at the stars was a blissful time.Autumn 2019: Used for day trip bathing after touring the pond. The cloudy sulfur springs are pleasant and will wash away your fatigue. It's good hot water.

Visit us for a day trip bath. There are 30k and 40k regulation signs on the road, but if you think about cars and oncoming traffic, you won't be able to drive that much. It takes a long time, and the navigation on your mobile phone loses radio waves and becomes inaccurate along the way. (Your car's navigation system is fine.) Enjoy the scenery and give yourself plenty of time to proceed. Enjoy the excitement when you finally arrive.I bought a bathing ticket from the ticket vending machine, put it in a can, and headed to the hot springs. I'm excited to smell the hot springs from the changing room.A hot spring gushing out of a bear's mouth! It's surreal. The slightly white hot spring with a sulfur smell is a secret hot spring! The open-air bath is the best! There are benches so you can enjoy bathing in the open air, so you can enjoy going in and out. However, if you take a bath for too long, the hot springs are so strong that you will get hit by the water, so be careful.Body soap, conditioner shampoo, and hair dryer are provided.I was planning to have lunch, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to various reasons! We also encountered a brown bear on the way back.Stop the car, do not provoke it, and wait for a while until the brown bear is gone. (The brown bear glanced at us and headed off to the mountain at its own pace...) Since there was no radio signal, we passed on the information to the people heading to the mountain hut and headed back home.If you encounter a brown bear, it is a must to keep your distance, do not provoke it, and do not get out of your car.

It was my first visit, so the first mountain trail was difficult, but the way back was OK, probably because I was used to it. It's a day trip. The facilities, equipment, and high quality in this mountain are amazing. This time I went for a day trip to the hot springs. The indoor hot spring with its attractive sulfur smell and the lukewarm open-air bath were great.

The inside of the facility is clean and beautiful. This is my favorite place because the quality of the spring water is good and you can relax. However, the gravel road to get there is tough...I want it paved. I sincerely hope so.

I visited you in late July.I was surprised at how cool it was without an air conditioner. The hot springs were also pleasant and I slept soundly.Dinner was delicious.
