Takayama's morning market and old town are just a short walk from the inn. Enjoying breakfast at the morning market, eating around the old town in the afternoon, enjoying stylish cafes, and sipping on Takayama ramen... This is the perfect inn for your trip.There are terraces next to the living room and on the second floor, and it was a valuable experience to be able to relax in the morning and evening. You can set up the tent on the terrace next to the living room with just a switch, so you don't have to worry about it even in light rain.The inside of the inn is a wonderful space down to the smallest details, and it is very clean.For example, leather slippers come with disposable insoles, and the terrace is so clean that you can lie down on it.The bath is not a hot spring, but the semi-open-air bath while looking at the quaint stone wall is incredibly comfortable. The morning bath was also a really nice time.I was also happy that the shower was compatible with nano bubbles!It was a really nice stay.I would like to visit you again in the fall and winter.thank you very much!

I stayed there on the grand opening day. The location is right in front of Sumiya Aoka. From the exterior to the interior, it was an inn where you could enjoy both Japanese and Western concepts. It's a special inn, but it also has a relaxing atmosphere, so one night wasn't enough... There is also a balcony, and unfortunately there was a heavy snowfall the day before our stay, so we couldn't relax on the balcony, but it looks like you can enjoy it in completely different ways in spring, summer, fall, and winter. You can see the balcony from the bath, so we recommend taking it in the morning and evening. It's only a short walk from sightseeing spots, so if you want to enjoy Hida Takayama slowly and fully, Sumiya is recommended.
