Visited again after several years. Probably because of the bad weather, there were less than 10 guests. Is the grade lower than before? Dinner is curry (with fried shrimp) with unlimited refills. There is no TV.There was a family of ptarmigans in a nearby tent field.

Water is precious because water sources can run dry. There is a fee, but when I visited there was a limit on the amount that could be purchased per person. It would be a good idea to bring water for the descent beforehand. The curry for dinner has unlimited refills, and there are side dishes other than curry, so it's very filling, which I really appreciate. Of course it's delicious. The room was not very comfortable as it was stuffy due to poor air circulation and had a strong smell of sweat. The customer service is ⚪︎, and the location just below the mountaintop is wonderful, but the mountain hut is located on a rocky mountain with rolling large rocks, so it's a bit difficult to get back and forth from the tent area. Before the season, you will have to make a reservation by faxing it to Tochioso. However, for some reason I couldn't make a reservation. If you have made a reservation using this method, I think it would be best to check whether your reservation has been made before visiting.

Used in early October 2023.●The restrooms are shared by both men and women. You might be able to say that they are in the minority in mountain huts these days.●There is space for self-catering. There are two tables. You can use the stove.●The water source seems to be quite far away. The faucets inside the building are like rainwater, so it is best not to drink from them.●There was a DVD viewing party after dinner. It was a program on NHK's 100 Famous Mountains. It's nice to have something like this because it allows guests to naturally talk to each other.

Good location, 10 minutes to the top of the mountain. Stayed overnight on September 15, 2023. On the website, it was listed as 9,000 yen for a room without meals, but it was actually 9,500 yen. I want HP to post the exact amount. It's a shame because it was a mountain hut that I had always wanted, so I felt a bit uneasy about it. Therefore, there are two ★. I have stayed at other mountain huts three times and received a receipt each time, but not this one. It was a clean and beautiful mountain hut with a sink, soap, and disinfectant.

Very nice mountain hut with super friendly staff. Very reasonable prices and rules. I stayed at the campsite for 2000¥ that was 5 minutes below. As of 08/06/23: The water source was no longer usable and we were limited to 1L per person due to water shortages. However they did offer bottled water for 400¥. It would be nice if they had a sign regarding this at the start of the trailhead. My only gripe with this place is the smoking in front of the entrance. It’s very unpleasant for people that don’t like it.
