Very nice and well-kept guesthouse in Japanese style. The host is very committed and gives helpful tips for things to do in Kyoto. There is a bus stop not far away from which you can reach the most important parts of the city. Also recommended for guests who are in Kyoto for the first time.

Traditional Japanese house with a super friendly and helpful host ! We had a relaxing stay over there. It's a bit far from the main activities but easily and rapidly reachable with the local transports (bus and subway).

I am calmed down by the calm host's presence.This is my second time using it. There are two convenience stores nearby.Nowadays, there are many restaurants that are open until late, which are about 5 minutes walk away.It's in the right place.You can take a bath until 11pm and from 7am to 9am the next morning. currently bathingTo prevent infection, only showers are allowed.You are free to come and go even after lights out. It's a very calm space, just like my parents' home.I get the impression that you get a sense of relief, like you've just come home.I basically stay overnight without meals, but the price is reasonable 🌿From now on, I would like to come to Kyoto several times a year🙏

I chose here because of the location is close to 船岡温泉 (tattoo friendly), and the accident is wonderful because Ichiro is very nice and suggest me some spots not for tourist 😆 the room is also cozy and quiet, the smell of tatami makes me calm down and sleep very well. If you have no distance issue (25mins bus from Kyoto main station), here is a perfect place to stay.

Ichiro is the best host i've ever met so far. He is sooo kind, he tried his best to communicate with us and give many recommendation places in Kyoto. He even gave me a ride to closest train station when i checked out. I would stay here again if i come to kyoto.

If I could I would give at least 7 stars from 5. Our host Ichiro was one of the best host I've ever met. He was so helpful and kind. It was our first time with my wife in Kyoto and we got a lot of recommendation from him which places are worth to visit and so on. We've choose a traditional japenese room with tatami and sliding doors and it was just as nice as on the pictures. The whole house was so nice and clean. We talked a lot in the common room, where you can drink your coffee or matcha in the morning. It's a nice and cozy guesthouse which I can recommend by heart!
