Stayed at the Inn in the Heian Shrine DairiI chose this place based on the fact that it allowed me to park my car, lent me a bicycle, and had a kitchen and washing machine. It was very quiet and I had a relaxing time. The place where the townhouse is located seems to be the site of ``Heiankyo Dairi Shokoden.'' It's the inner palace...There was an imperial palace there until around 990 AD, and I didn't know that the current Kyoto Imperial Palace was relocated, so I learned a lot.Parking is easy. However, the surrounding roads are narrow, so if you are not used to going in and out with a large car many times, you may have to be a little careful.

This is a well-maintained traditional Japanese house. The whole neighborhood feels comfortable. The kids loved the free rental of bicycles. The water pressure was good for a warm shower, and the entire neighborhood was a quiet residential area, which was also nice. Another advantage is that you can walk to Kyoto Imperial Palace and Nijo Castle. However, it was inconvenient that there was no frying pan in the kitchen. It feels like the manager is not very attentive in that regard. The road in front is one-way, but it is really narrow, especially when exiting the parking lot. Unless your car is a compact car, someone will need to get out and check both sides.

I stayed at Kokiden Minamitei. When you make a reservation, you will receive an email informing you of the room key number (the type that locks automatically by entering the key number on the touch panel) and the location of the parking lot. It's like putting it in.They said, ``Please call me 30 minutes before arrival,'' but I received a call about an hour beforehand and was able to check in early, so I headed to the accommodation. When I arrived at the inn's parking lot and called, they would come to pick me up at the parking lot, but perhaps because I had told them my approximate arrival time, the staff member sensed my arrival and came walking to the parking lot even before I called. I did.Six of the ten tenement houses are used as lodging facilities, but the office also appears to be located at the end.Koukiden Minamitei was exactly as I had seen it on the website, and had a very nice Kyomachiya atmosphere. It was quiet and the surrounding noise didn't bother me too much.I can't tell from the website, but there was a sofa on the opposite side of the kitchen, and I thought the cushions between the boards would hurt my feet, so it was a good thing.Since I have a bicycle, I can expand my range of activities by going out by bicycle, but if you don't know where to go, I think you can search for ``bicycle smartphone holder'' on Amazon or something like that and you'll find a smartphone holder that can be attached to the handlebar of your bicycle. If you buy one, it will be easier to check the map on your smartphone, which will make cycling easier. However, please note that the bicycles at the inn are not electrically assisted, so if you are not confident in your physical strength, or if you do not ride a bicycle often, it is best not to go too far. Kyoto may look flat at first glance, but there are many subtle slopes, so it can be quite challenging.Due to the coronavirus, there are no services such as bed making, but garbage collection and towel replacement are provided every day. If you keep trash cans and towels together at the entrance, you can collect the trash and change the towels while you are out. It's not an area with many tourists, so you can enjoy it as if you were living there. Since it is not a hotel, there is no service for meals such as breakfast, but I think it would be better to go to a coffee shop for breakfast instead of buying something at a convenience store.Within walking or cycling distancecafe tyrolCOFFEE UNIONI like how it feels like Kyoto.Egg sandwiches and egg toast are delicious. If you're looking for a coffee shop that opens early, Cafe Star is a good choice. If you want to buy breadFlip up!Recommended (there's been a line since the morning)The soy milk yogurt sold at a tofu shop called Toyoukeya Yamamoto is also delicious.

On March 18, 2023, a motorcycle touring customer from Hong Kong stayed at our hotel. There is a large parking lot and it is easy to park your bike. Kyoto has many one-way streets, and the main drawback is that the entrance to the inn is difficult to find. Customer reviews from Hong Kong were very satisfied.Thank you for your reply.Yes, this time it was a short schedule of 5 days and 4 nights, but on the first day, I stayed in Kakegawa, Shizuoka from Tokyo, and on the second night I came here. Unfortunately, it rained from Kakegawa to Kyoto East, but everyone had a good run. In the evening, enjoy a kaiseki meal at Tagoto-san in Shijo Kawaramachi. On the third day, go to Nara, Ise, and Toba. On the fourth day, go from Toba to Lake Ira, go strawberry picking at Mt. Kuno, and stay overnight at Nihondaira and Lake Tanuki at the foot of Mt. Fuji. I did. On the last day, we had a pretty tough schedule, visiting Shiraito Falls, Yamamiya Sengen Shrine, and taking the 246 to Tokyo via Hadano Tanzawa Smart Interchange. We will also take you along.thank you very much.

It was a wonderful inn that made my dream of staying in a townhouse come true. While there are some places that are neat and tidy in the style of a townhouse, this one had the security of coming back to grandma's house and modern conveniences, making it very comfortable and the best. There are many rooms on the first floor, but there was also a room on the second floor, and I was very excited to see a bedroom that looked like an attic with beams. They also gave us some delicious tea leaves, which were so delicious that I drank many cups and even bought some to take home as souvenirs.I think it's irresistible for those who like The Tale of Genji, as the location is where the Dairi was located during the Heian period. It's just a stone monument, but it's fun just wandering around. It was an area I hadn't been to much, but there was also a braid experience nearby, so it was a wonderful place to get a feel of Kyoto. It's in a residential area so it's very quiet. The room had a washer and dryer, so I was able to wash and dry my laundry after a long trip, which was very helpful.I had a bicycle, so it was convenient to use it for short outings. The owner was also very kind and was able to tell me about shops near the inn, which was very helpful.I was happy to meet and talk to the owner. If you ever come to Kyoto again, I would definitely like to visit you again.

The townhouse has been renovated and is comfortable to stay in. Parking is free, but the road is narrow, so be careful if you drive a large vehicle. It's a great place to use when friends from other prefectures come to play.

It was renovated and clean. I'm glad we were able to use it with a large group and have fun. I went for a morning walk to Kitano Tenmangu Shrine.

Accommodation location: IchinobuNumber of guests: 5 or more people⚫I used it on a girls trip. I wanted to spend as much time as possible in one room with everyone, so I heard about Yamanaka Abuten renting out a whole house and made a reservation.⚫There are 5 rooms, one toilet on the first floor and one on the second floor, the interior is beautiful, and even with a large number of people, there was a feeling of openness and we were able to spend a comfortable time. It was also nice to have a veranda and a garden.⚫You have to lay out your own futon, but you can lay it out in any room, so we were all able to sleep together on the second floor, and we had a very enjoyable night.⚫The bath is for one person, which can be difficult if you have a large group, but the interior is clean and they have good amenities from POLA, which was popular with the girls.⚫It was difficult because I had to check in at the Kyoto Station reception, which was far away, but since the key was an electronic key, I didn't have to worry about returning it, so it was comfortable. The reception staff also responded to our questions politely.⚫To sum up, it was a very nice environment when you want to spend a relaxing time with a large number of people. Girls can also use it beautifully and happily. thank you very much.
