The rice is quite delicious. The rooms are simple but very clean. The customer service was kind, but not too pushy, and I felt very relaxed. The hot spring was also great as it helped me get rid of my fatigue. It was 11,000 yen including sukiyaki and 2 meals per night.

Stayed here after climbing Mt. Nishihotaka in April. The food was delicious. Above all, the view of Mount Shikujo from the open-air bath is spectacular. I had a great time while remembering climbing when I was younger.

2022/4/16 SunnyUnlike the day before, it was a little colder and the temperature dropped below 10 degrees. The room is small but cleanUnderfloor heating kept us at a comfortable temperature, neither hot nor cold. The open-air bath is spacious and of course has a hot spring source. If you return the tag at the entrance, it becomes a private bath. You can take a relaxing soak (same as the indoor bath)The main meal was Hida beef shabu-shabu.local cuisineIt was very delicious to our tasteThe scenery around the pension is beautiful, and the snow-capped mountains of the Northern Alps spread out in front of you.You can also see the Shinhotaka Ropeway tower. The people at the pension have good personalities.I was treated kindly.

Stayed in mid-October. No matter what I say, I like the open-air bath. Shinhotaka has so much hot water that it gushes out from the ground. The food is good for the price. However, the toilet and washroom are basically shared. My wife was very kind. thank you very much.

Speaking of hot springs, Gero! Since those days, I have grown up a lot and passed through Hirayu and went deeper and deeper. FinallyWe reached Nakao Onsen ^ ^The water temperature is a little lukewarm compared to the Hirayu. The sulfur smell is also a little less pronounced. However, the degree of warmth and recovery are completely different. On the day of my stay, I walked about 20km carrying my backpack, but I didn't feel tired. It was the perfect amount for someone of my age who wants to eat a little bit of something good.Since I am the same age as your young wife, I was able to talk a little. It was fun.A great location for mountain lovers. It's also close to the Hotaka Ropeway, so I'd like to go there again.

The price, the cleanliness of the room, the response to coronavirus,It was a stay where I was very satisfied with everything including the food.I especially enjoyed the fact that the large open-air bath was reserved for private use and you could return the bill and use it freely. The Hida beef shabu-shabu is also very satisfying.I would like to stay there again.

The Hida beef roast beef, shabu shabu, and sweetfish for dinner were super delicious. The open-air bath and indoor bath can be reserved for private use, which is safe in this day and age. The open-air bath is large and can be used until 9am. No pajamas and no refrigerator.
