This is an inn in a traditional building located in the elegant streets of Higashi Chaya District. They hold tea ceremony classes on the first floor, and it seems like you can have a real experience there, but I had the opportunity to make my own matcha tea in a room on the second floor. It snowed in Kanazawa in the winter, but even with the snow it added to the atmosphere and was wonderful.Above all, the personality of the host is very nice! They also told us about recommended shops and public baths. thank you. It's an old-fashioned building, so it's easy to hear noise. It's not a noisy place like Tokyo, but if you're easily picky, it might be a little bothersome.

The hostess was very warm-hearted and taught me a lot about Kanazawa's culture and town. I was able to make matcha tea at the inn and calm my mind, and I was able to spend a relaxing and wonderful time in Kanazawa. Also, the public bath near the inn has an atmosphere that has been loved by locals for many years, and I was happy to be able to get a feel of Kanazawa life. This is an inn that I would definitely like to stay at again.

I stayed here on my first trip to Kanazawa. I made the reservation through Airbnb, and even though I made the reservation on short notice the day before my stay, they kindly accepted my reservation, which I was grateful for. Although the check-in time was much later than the time we had originally contacted, we were welcomed warmly. It is a traditional townhouse-style building with a tea shop on the first floor where tea ceremony experiences are also held. The entire second floor of this building could be used as a lodging space. At first, the atmosphere created by the building exceeded my expectations in a good way, and I was nervous and uneasy, wondering if it was really okay to stay here, but gradually I started to experience something out of the ordinary. I started to feel like I was there, and I was able to spend some time feeling refreshed for the first time in a while. I also didn't have any familiarity with the area, so I thought I'd have to explore the area, but the host kindly and politely told me about restaurants and public baths in the area, so I didn't have much experience with the area. I was grateful that I was able to spend my time without feeling anxious.I think this is a highly recommended inn for those who are interested in traditional townhouse-style buildings. However, as it is an old building, I felt that the voices and footsteps of people walking outside could easily be heard until around 8pm, when the nearby shops close and there is less foot traffic. . Inside the building, every time you walk on the tatami mats, you will hear a creaking sound. This product may not be recommended for those who are bothered by minute environmental sounds around them that sound like noise.Sorry for the long reply. If I have the opportunity to travel to Kanazawa for the second time, I would like to come visit you again, regardless of whether you stay overnight or not. Thank you very much for your time.
