I used it on the last day of a three-day holiday in September. The exterior and interior are the same as the site, very clean and easy to use. I want to use it again.

If a full Ryokan experience is too much, but a hotel is too boring, this traditional Japanese house might be what you're looking for. It suited us as we were a family of 6 and there were 4 bedrooms (western style beds).The garage was large enough to fit our rental MPV (Toyota Noah). Living room, kitchen area, bathroom, toilet and laundry room are on level one. All bedrooms (air-conditioned), and another toilet, are on level two accessed via a flight of stairs. We arrived on a cold wintry day, thankfully the bedroom Aircon was able to heat the bedrooms to a comfortable temperature. Getting the living room warmed up took longer as it's a bigger space and cold air seeped in from many crevices. If it's too chilly, the living room table has heater and blanket that will keep you toasty.It's a good location because from here, the morning market, a supermarket, and many restaurants are reachable on foot. This house is in a quiet residential area, so no loud noises after 9pm. We appreciated the peacefulness as we don't party and just needed a good night's rest.How people live in different countries or culture are reflected in the design of their homes. Although this house isn't full on traditional Japanese, the western style amenities provided us with modern comforts that we have grown so accustomed to. I would consider this place again the next time I return here with a big group.

I used it for sightseeing.The exterior and interior were both very beautiful and clean, making it a comfortable stay!I would like to use it again when I come to Takayama!
