I stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and 2 year old daughter in mid-December.Climb north past the Kyoto Imperial Palace and if you see the Doshisha campus, you're right there. Using the inn as a base, it is conveniently located to go anywhere. This time I stayed at Take. When you pass through the lattice gate, you will see the tea room and the garden. I was excited to see the autumn leaves, which I had thought would be too late to see since the season had passed. The room had a pleasant smell of wood and had a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The sliding door leading to the bedroom is decorated with Nishijin textiles depicting the story of the bamboo cutter, and just looking at it gives me a sense of elegance. At night, after the kids went to bed, I dimmed the lights a little, looked out at the sliding doors, cooked the ingredients I had bought with my husband, and enjoyed bar time.It was the most luxurious time.In terms of facilities, a cold wave had just arrived, and it was freezing cold outside, but the room was equipped with floor heating, so no matter where you were in the room, it was warm and comfortable. It was also nice to have an air purifying humidifier, as my daughter is sensitive to dryness. There is a large bath made of cypress wood, so the three of us as a family could soak in the bath and warm up. The bathroom at home is so small that the three of us usually can't take a bath together, so my daughter seemed extremely happy, and I felt so happy that we stayed the night.I was also impressed by the owner's careful consideration and hospitality. When you go on a trip with your kids, the changes in the environment can cause stress, making it hard for parents to sleep, making them grumpy, but this time was different. Thanks to the kindness of the owner, they prepared cute tableware, toys, picture books, a crib, and a baby chair for my daughter, and when I told her in advance that my daughter couldn't sleep in the bright light, she put them next to the window. was covered with a blackout curtain. Thanks to all of you, I was able to sleep as soundly as usual and seemed to be in a good mood throughout. In addition, they told me about nearby restaurants, bakeries, sweets shops, and side dish shops in advance, which was very helpful. I visited various stores morning, noon, and night, and all of them were wonderful, and I felt that the owner's good taste was evident.I think the great appeal of renting a whole house is that you can spend your everyday life in an extraordinary space. I felt that the owner's personality and attentive hospitality made the restaurant even richer. I would like to find another opportunity to stay here in the future. Thank you very much for this time!

The other day, as it was our last trip together, we went to Kyoto to stretch our legs and used Sanari. From the exterior of the building to the interior and amenities, it's all to your liking, and the moment you walk in, you can smell the pleasant smell of wood! I was especially moved by the beautiful folding screens. Fortunately, the weather was nice, and I was able to sit on a chair on the terrace and relax for the first time in a while. I'm looking forward to the day when the three of us can come and stay again!

I stayed at Take with my 2 year old daughter and my husband for one night. We looked for hotels in the surrounding area, but since there were 3 of us and we were bringing a child who still cried a lot, we decided to stay in an open-minded townhouse where we could relax. Also, if we told them in advance that our daughter would wake up early if it wasn't dark, they would install a blackout cloth in the bedroom, which was the deciding factor in our decision to stay here.It was located in a quiet residential area and had double automatic locks. When you enter our building (house), the barrier-free cypress bath is immediately on the right! (&washing machine)Step forward and you will find an open living/dining/kitchen area. It's a waste to stay only one night. I really wanted to stay for a long time...What's more, when we informed them in advance that we would be bringing children, they even provided a set of very cute children's tableware and dining chairs for us to sit around the table with. Based on the information we gave them in advance, they gave us a lock number that was easy for our family to remember...The inn itself was wonderful, but most of all, the host was very considerate.I would like to stay again.

I stayed in the two-story Kaede for 2 nights and 3 days. There is a tea room where you can use the wonderful utensils to spend a precious time, and you can rent an electric bicycle and go for a morning walk to Shimogamo Shrine and the Imperial Palace. It is a stay that cannot be experienced just by sightseeing in Kyoto by staying at a hotel. It was time.Next time I would like to stay at the one-story "Take". The Nishijin-ori fusuma that I was shown on my way home was wonderful. The hospitality of the owner is great, and he lives next door, so I feel safe.

Once you step inside, you'll be in a different space. This is a luxurious rental inn where time seems to pass slowly.
