Kawaji Onsen.A year ago at *Ichiryukaku Main Building*...A week ago, I had a terrible experience at *Steamy Village Kashiwaya*.Revenge before you hate it.♨️Free flowing hot spring water. Private bath. It has a reputation for its cuisine. Finish with soba noodles. As a result, it was a perfect fit for us.thank you very much. For example, the dishes that other people praise are:It was like a small version of the dinner you would have at Kawaji Onsen *Kawaji Kai* or Kinugawa Onsen *Wakatake no Sho*. (In the image, a Japanese cuisine course costs around ¥8,000)I wonder why you can eat such high-quality food for this price.I guess I won't be able to make reservations soon...By the way, I think it's good to know in advance.⚪︎The entrance to the parking lot is narrow. It is best to check once, pass by, and then make a U-turn to enter.⚪︎Parking spaceIdeal for light to 5 number vehicles. 3 number last minute. Probably not a large SUV. Although the one box at the inn was parked. Also, there are no designated areas with white lines or ropes. Probably worried. Best to check with your accommodation.Turning around under the eaves of a parking space can be *fairly difficult* depending on the number of parking spaces.Basically, you should approach from the head, but depending on the situation, it may be better to enter from the rear. However, if I were to temporarily park on R121 to check, it would cause a traffic jam in an instant...⚪︎It might be a good idea to bring shampoo, conditioner, makeup remover, and facial soap.⚪︎Hair dryer (available in the communal washroom)⚪︎It's hot and humid in the changing room❌ (it's cool at 4:00 in the morning)⚪︎Showers are cold from midnight to early morning.⚪︎There is no guide booklet in the room. (Although it's not necessary)⚪︎Dinner is around 18:00, breakfast is around 8:00, there will be announcements in the hotel.⚪︎No alcohol menu. Asahi large bottle, sake (hot or cold), shochu (hot or cold)⚪︎It's better not to be late for dinner. Everyone is served at the same time, which affects everyone's final soba noodles.⚪︎One vending machine for alcohol in the building (tea in the basic room🍵)⚪︎You may need to bring bottled water or tea.⚪︎There is no refrigerator.⚪︎It is quiet due to the structure of the inn. (TV 📺 Corridor Opening and closing of sliding doors, keep conversation to a minimum)⚪︎There is a cooler in the room⭕️I would like to thank Kawaji Onsen Shiraiya for their help this time.Sawatari Onsen Maruhon RyokanSawatari Onsen RyumeikanShima Onsen Kotobukiya RyokanShima Onsen Kurenai RyokanShima Onsen Morimata RyokanKumomi Onsen HamadorakuToi Onsen Toyosaki HotelShibu Onsen Senshinkan MatsuyaYunishigawa Onsen Motoyu Nishikawakan Main BuildingNikko Yumoto Onsen Ryokan ShiranesoWhat the above-mentioned inns have in common is that they are run by families or small groups. The inn is old but clean. There are no unnecessary items (on the other hand, there are so few that you need to check in advance 💦)Between an inn and a guesthouse. If you can empathize with these things, you will be satisfied. In a good way, I think it's good for middle-aged and older people who have a wide tolerance and a high level of experience.I think it's tough for young couples.

This is my third visit and this is my regular lodging in the Kinugawa area. As always, the food was great. However, there is a lot of food, so you should come hungry (bitter smile).

Seems like a family run business. Not only the customer service, but the food was also very delicious, and I was very satisfied with the amount of food they prepared. The bath was large enough for a family bath. Don't expect a big bath at a big inn.It was an inn that I would like to stay at next time.
