I used it for 1 night and 2 days during my children's fall vacation.I heard it was an old hotel,Cleaned properly,It was a Japanese style room, but it was clean and very nice.I could see a lot of deer from my room at night. Both my children and I were very excited. There are no hotels where you can see animals! The open-air bath was also very comfortable and great. It was great that the amenities were available in the lobby and I was able to take only what I needed.I'll come back later!

Both the rabbit and the horn have wonderful baths. The hot water is abundant and rich as it is fed directly from the source. You'll want to come in multiple times a day.The food is also highly praised for focusing on the flavors of the mountains and rivers. The sashimi was lake trout, konnyaku, and yuba. I think it's better than being served tuna that I have no connection to.One thing to note is that this hotel is located deep in the mountains with no sign of people within a radius of several kilometers, so humans are a bit of a nuisance in nature. If you take a bath at night, you'll see dragonflies resting on the walls and stink bugs strolling around the washing area. I even scooped up dead crickets that had fallen into the hot water and threw them away.Let's understand that we humans are the foreign substances here.It may not be suitable for people who are not good at such things, but hot springs are truly the best, so I recommend you to try it at least once.

A long time ago, when I was driving around Senjogahara, I saw a signboard for the Nikko Astoria Hotel. I wanted to try it once, so I stayed for two nights. I checked in to a Japanese-style room. When I returned to the room after entering the hot spring and walked on the carpet floor, it was extremely cold! It seemed like water was leaking from the refrigerator nearby, so I contacted the front desk, and the manager came right away to check it out. I decided to change rooms and requested a Western-style room, and they kindly arranged it for me.37 years since opening. The building is old, and the restrooms are a mix of Western and Japanese styles, but the staff were polite and warm, and I got the impression that they compensated for any damage to the hardware with their will. Surrounded by forest, it is completely silent. It was the perfect hot spring to wash off the grime of the past year.

Available on Sunday, August 11thYou can use the hot springs for day trips from 12:30 to 15:00.We entered the bath at 12:30, and after about 10 minutes, all the washing areas were filled with day-trip hot spring visitors, but since the bathtub was relatively large, we were able to spread out our baths and enjoy the hot spring slowly. I did.The quality of the hot springs is perfect, with the sulfur from Oku-Nikko and the cloudy white from Yunohana, making your skin smooth and smooth.
