I will never go there. I usually stay at ryokans, but this is the first time I've been to something so bad at this price.

A quiet resort hotel surrounded by the forests of Nasu Highlands. Shiki-no-Yakata and the adjacent Hotel Mori no Kaze are sister hotels, and the facilities can be shared. The Shiki-no-Yakata has a modern Japanese-style atmosphere with a beautiful courtyard and each room surrounding it. The ``relaxing Japanese-style room with cypress bath + terrace and twin room'' that I booked was very tidy, and the terrace was particularly impressive as it allowed me to enjoy a forest bath with chirping birds. Unfortunately, the boiler right next to the terrace was noisy. The baths are perfect, as you can enjoy the indoor hot springs fed directly from the source, the communal open-air bath, and the sauna in the adjacent facility. However, the room felt a little small considering the price. Now, we heard that you can enjoy French Kaiseki cuisine at our hotel. At the time of reservation, there was a course for creative French cuisine and a Kaiseki course, and this time I chose the Kaiseki course. The dishes make the most of locally produced ingredients from the Nasu Highlands, and are simply top-notch in taste. It would be best to think of our hotel as a place where you can enjoy the ultimate cuisine, take a hot spring bath, and even stay overnight. All of this makes sense when you consider that the high proportion of the price is for first-class cuisine. In addition to French, this hotel also offers Italian and Japanese Kaiseki cuisine, including its sister hotel Hotel Mori no Kaze, so I would like to visit again.

Considering the price, I expected something a little more. When you try to relax on the terrace, is there a boiler right next to it? It was a shame that it was noisy.
