I stayed with my family of 11. The spacious room was well-maintained and clean.There was a big TV and all the children were enjoying playing games together. All the dishes, rice cookers, etc. were available, and there was even a pizza oven!There was an outbuilding where you could have a barbecue, so we were able to have a meal there with a large number of people. If you have a large group, it might be a good idea to bring some pottery with you.Cell phone chargers were also available and the service was excellent.The old shutters made me feel very nostalgic and reminded me of my grandmother's home in the countryside.

I visited from Shizuoka with three friends.The warm hospitality of the couple and the attentive service make this the best rental mountain lodge.It was a great night as we gathered ingredients from Hita and cooked them during the day.The overnight stay in a traditional Japanese headman's house was a great learning experience and a great memory.It was a wonderful trip thanks to the hospitality of a kind couple.

Stayed in September 2022. This is an old private house that can be rented to only one group per day. When we arrived at the inn, the owner and his wife carefully explained how to use it. It's spacious anyway. Of course it was my first time staying in such a spacious old folk house, so I really enjoyed it and it was a valuable experience. However, since it is in the mountains, there are inevitably insects. It's better to be prepared for that. There was plenty of insect repellent.This time, I had the charcoal-grilled local chicken with the dinner plan, and it was so delicious that I was impressed. It is said to be a collaboration with a famous restaurant nearby that has long lines of customers. There is a barbecue house in the garden, so you can grill and eat there. All the tools are provided, you can bring in alcohol, and there's a roof so you can do it even in the rain. We highly recommend this dinner plan when staying overnight.Also, the bath and toilet have been renovated and are very clean, so you can rest assured. I also have a new TV so I can watch YouTube, Netflix, etc. so I don't get bored. I was able to use the prefectural discount and Hita Pay, so I had a valuable experience at a low price. thank you very much.

It was the best inn I've ever stayed at, an ideal old private house for rent! A well-built mansion owned by a wealthy farmer in the countryside has been carefully renovated. We stock all kinds of daily necessities, from furniture and appliances to new products, and it's much more well-maintained and clean than other hot spring inns. Also, although the husband and wife said, ``Some areas that have not been repaired or are used as storage areas are staff-only,'' they were not scolded even if their children entered, and they said, ``Please be careful.'' "Please," she said kindly, and the child went wild when she discovered that the hidden staircase at the back of the second floor led to a storage room on the first floor. It's definitely fun to come with two families or a large family. This is a dream come true accommodation for those who grew up in an apartment in the city.

The owner was very kind. The grounds and rooms were spacious and we had a really relaxing time. The home appliances were also easy to use. The futon was also comfortable. I thought there would be more insects, so it was comfortable from beginning to end.
