A very comfortable B&B, very suitable for family travel, and the communication in advance was very good.

Self Contained Private Villa as a base for exploring the Yufuin and Beppu area.Host tried their best to provide the clear instructions on parking regulations and house rules. It seem they have encountered many guests who do not obey the rules (so please don't be the dreadful nuisance 😅)Washing machine is provided and help take care of the laundry but you need to air the washed clothes as there is no dryer so may be more challenging during the winter months.Staircase can be steeper so do take note.The main room downstairs does have a mushy smell and need airing before it's ok.Location is good as Kinrin lake and Yufuin floral village are all within walking distance so you can go really early or late at closing hours to avoid the huge crowds.Please refer to attached photos

Private building🏠The whole house, kitchen, bathroom facilities, and hot spring pool are clean; it is a very complete accommodation environment; there are also parking spaces; the only drawback: the surrounding roads are narrow alleys; but if you pay attention, you will be fine👌

Home away from home, standalone homes with individual private onsen offering a discreet, quaint experience.Each home is near new, well maintained along with amenities like a proper electric kitchen, microwave, kettle and high speed WiFi, can easily sleep a family of 4 to even 8 comfortably with sufficient space on both levels with 3 queen sized beds + living room space for futons to accommodate.The location though can be challenging to find especially on foot, even driving on very very narrow streets can be hazardous at night.Recommend to arrive before sunset and leave after sunrise, if you plan to eat-in preparing your own meals, buy them before arriving at the accommodation.

Big house, second floor has three beds. You can sleep on the first floor again, suitable for families. There is 1 bathroom and an outdoor onsen bath near the lake. The accommodation is quite far from the train station. If you don't rent a car, don't recommend staying here. There are quite a few taxis in this city.

The alleys in residential areas are relatively narrow, so you need to pay extra attention to safety when driving.The room is clean and comfortable, and it only takes five minutes to walk to Jinlin Lake.
