Have a personal onsen in the room, comes with breakfast and dinner. Both are great eat till you drop with numerous dishes. It's really money worth 👍. But as usual it's subject to individual per say....enjoy.

I stayed at Yamanami Ryokan, which was located strangely far from the station. It is a bit hilly and it would be difficult to drag a suitcase up there, so I recommend taking a taxi. The room was large and I was able to sleep comfortably. I had a hard time choosing where to stay because the bathroom was shared, but I had no regrets because the price advantage made up for it. The bathroom was spacious and clean, which was nice enough. As for the large public bath, I have nothing to compare it to since I've never been to any other places, but it was clean anyway and there was a small indoor bath and two open-air baths, so there was no inconvenience in using it.The staff responded kindly to the service and even carried my suitcase to the second floor so I was able to move to my room comfortably. The breakfast service was excellent, and my mother was very satisfied because she was able to eat light Japanese home-style food.

The breakfast was great, the staff were friendly, and there was nothing inconvenient. It was the best value for money. The open-air bath was also great. If I come to Yufuin again, I will stay here.

It was used by two people, a parent and child. It seemed like the inn was mainly used by foreign tourists, so I was a little worried about staying with children, but there were no problems at all.The facility was well-cleaned, including the shared toilets, and the staff were all very kind.No wonder it's highly rated.By the way, the majority of the guests during my stay were Japanese tourists.

This ryokan is fantastic. The food is not to be missed!! We got the room with private onsen which was lovely. The staff are very friendly, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Btw the name in Japanese is Ryokan Yamanami if you see it on some booking site.

First of all, the ryokan owner is very kind ( ´∀`)I left my glasses behind, but when I inquired through Google Maps, they quickly delivered them to Korea.🥹There are reviews that the location is not good, but is it a 10-minute walk to Yufuin Station? I think it's been a while. It didn't feel that far.The room was spacious and in good condition. I was a little reluctant at first because it was a shared bathroom, but I was surprised at how clean the bathroom was..ㄷㄷThe breakfast was delicious, the view was nice, and the price was reasonable👍I recommend it
