September 2024Ukiha is right next to a roadside station and has a unique atmosphere. The grounds are wide and open. The building has been renovated and is interesting.Dishes start at 1,600 yen, but prices exceed 2,000 yen depending on the amount of soba noodles, so it feels like a business. It was great to see that the grape vinegar, appetizers, and tempura were all locally produced and consumed.Soba noodles are normal. The soba soup is sweet and the soup stock has a strong flavor. You may have different tastes. The fig tempura was interesting. The tempura overall is average.

I visited around 2pm during the September holidays. It was full and there were about 7 groups waiting. It is located at the bottom of the back of Ukiha Roadside Station. Since this is a soba restaurant where you can stay overnight, the grounds are spacious, and there are swings and something like a campsite, so you can relax while you wait.It was helpful because the children could play while waiting. It seemed like we were the last customers, so we were called after about 30 minutes.Inside the store, you had to take off your shoes, and there were table seats and a small raised tatami room.Although it looks like an old folk house, the inside of the store was very clean and spacious, with large windows and a stylish space. There are about 6 types on the menu, and some of them, such as duck soba, were out of stock, but I ordered zaru soba and tempura. It comes with an appetizer and grape vinegar, and the tempura is light and crispy. The soba noodles were of a thin, round type and had a sweet soup, all of which I liked. I was surprised by the Shine Muscat tempura. The children's menu was also gorgeous! There are plenty of chairs, including small chairs, bumbo types, and collapsible types with tables, so you can feel safe even if you are bringing your baby with you.The tempura rice bowl I got for tasting was also delicious.I would like to visit you again when I am in the area.

An old folk house built over 150 years ago. We recommend the Kifune lunch for 2,330 yen.Daytime hours are 11:00am and evening hours are 5:30pm. There is a parking lot.
