Thanks for giving us some great time here.The rooms are very nice and complete.Although the shopkeeper have lots of rules, but if u could follow there won’t be any problem.U will not find a hotel have this cheep room and close to everywhere.But u need to book this rooms like half a year.There even have a elevator inside.

I think all of these negative comments are misleading and inaccurate - we had a great stay at the Alpine guesthouse for a week and would return in the future.There are particular rules as mentioned - but these are clearly signposted before entering and well explained by the manager - who was very kind and helpful during our stay.Room was well appointed and had a good heater. Shared spaces were clean and reasonably well equipped.Good price for the area.Easy walk up to the ski slopes, a convenience store 5min down the road, epic onsen across the road (500yen at Edel Warme), 20-30min walk into main Furano town, but a few good bars/restaurants locally in a 5min radius (just get in early ish ~5:30pm to avoid long waits).I think as long as you respect the rules as mentioned, it is a well priced, well located and well appointed place that I would recommend!! Thanks for our stay :)

This hotel seems to get a lot of bad review which seems to be not fair, as all the rules are stated and been explain clearly by the front office everytime we do the check inFor the price we pay in this location and good cleanliness it is totally worth for those who have limited budget but would like to visit and skiin in Furano

I've heard that it's a problem if you arrive earlier than the check-in time, but this is the first time I've heard that they won't be able to guide you if you arrive late. When I call to say I'll be 10 minutes late, it's impossible for someone to say, "Oh, I'm about to call you, but I can't help you anymore, are you sure?" and hang up on me. And no refunds, it's not a rip-off! If you really don't want to wait even one second, then if you haven't arrived 5 minutes or 10 minutes ago, shouldn't you call to confirm right away? Sometimes I get delayed on a plane, and even if I go to the convenience store, I end up not having a place to stay.It's really bad.

Desk manager flew into a rage and yelled at us for pulling our luggage on the carpet at the front door. Keeps repeating "In Japan we don't do that! This is guesthouse!" ... I said sorry but you don't have to be so fierce as if you're going to fight with us... in the end he said "please leave, I refund you"
