It felt more like a private lodging house than a guesthouse, and the building was old, but the water area was kept clean. It was very cheap so I have no problem with it. The clerk was also nice. It's not like the service is perfect, but I feel comfortable and at a reasonable distance. The toilet is Japanese style. There were two shower rooms with bathtubs, and the water pressure was high and the water was piping hot.The structure allows you to hear the voices next to you, but I was lucky that the customers were quiet so it didn't bother me. The air conditioner in the room was old, so it was slow to start, but I was able to make it work if I took my time.I certainly felt sand in many places, but I feel like that's the case considering the location. The beach is right next door, so I think it's perfect for people who want to surf the waves the next morning or stay for several nights. Not suitable for couples or families looking for a vacation resort. It's suitable for riders and surfers who want to stay cheaply around Shimoda and don't care about the details. Convenience stores are also within walking distance.

My family of four enjoyed the BBQ.I wasn't expecting the kind of pottery that came out, but the quality was exactly as expected, so I didn't care about that. (Because it was possible to bring it in to some extent)I don't know if it was a staff member or a helper who is an acquaintance of the owner, but they kindly asked me to take a break inside the store when it's hot, but there were people inside the store who seemed to be regulars. They were drinking with me, having silly conversations, and having fun, so it was hard for the kids to get involved, and I had to be careful when ordering.Looking at the quality of the staff, I feel that they have an easy job.I want you to reconsider what it means to make money.

We will write about our experiences. This is just our family's experience, so it's not that this accommodation is bad or anything, so please don't misunderstand.I'll write it briefly. I played in the sea until check-in and took a bath right after checking in. I got a little sleepy and fell asleep around 5pm, and that's when I was tied up. I woke up around 7pm, but I was still sleepy so my husband and kids were going to bed as well, so I turned off the TV and lights and went to bed. We all woke up in the morning feeling like we were having a hard time sleeping. Then we started talking, and I realized that I had no sense of time since I checked in.My room was a corner room, and there was a toilet just to the left, but I had to go to the toilet many times because my stomach wasn't feeling well. We had a room across the street, but there were no other guests. Who did you greet your husband with? I was asked, ``I haven't met anyone?'' I told my husband that I was in the bathroom, and he said, “Huh?” Didn't you go to the bathroom on the right? So I told her I hadn't been there and that I had been in the restroom on the left because I had a stomach ache. The door to the room was open and I was going to the bathroom, but my husband said that a man wearing just his underwear had just passed by from his left. He says he didn't say hello to that person.First of all, there is only a toilet on the left, so it's hard for people to come on the left. And I haven't met or talked to anyone.I'm also concerned about the money the day before.I've only been tied up once when I was in junior high school, but I don't think I've ever been tied up as an adult. It didn't feel scary or anything like that, it just felt like a mysterious place. The location is really great as it's right next to the sea. I thought it was a little inconvenient because I couldn't meet the owner very often.

Last weekend, I visited Shirahama in Izu, Shizuoka Prefecture, and stayed at a nice guesthouse right in front of the beach. This guesthouse is just a few steps from Shirahama Beach, and we were impressed by its perfect location right in front of the beach. The most impressive thing was the BBQ that you can enjoy at the guesthouse. The view of the coast while having a BBQ was truly luxurious. The guesthouse rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were very kind. They introduced us to local tourist information and made our trip even more enriching. With its beachfront location, this Izu Shirahama guesthouse is perfect for travelers seeking relaxation and outdoor experiences. This is an inn for connoisseurs who are tired of staying in hotels. There is also a bar, where you can enjoy a drink while looking out at the sea at night. Being able to enjoy BBQ is a unique attraction here. I highly recommend this minshuku to anyone planning a stay in Shizuoka.

Stayed on August 11th. The meal plan was sold out, so I stayed overnight without meals! It was 12,000 yen per person, probably because of the Obon holiday.I felt the price was high, but I thought it was because it was a busy season, so I accepted it.There's a sandy beach right at the back door, and a bar with a great atmosphere🍸Although I was worried about the age of the building, I entered the room looking forward to having a drink at the bar and chatting with the staff!......butThe hallways and rooms are full of sand...The communal washbasin is also full of sand...Well, I'm still patient! High location with direct access to the sandy beach! There will be a lot of going back and forth between the beach and your room. It's actually impossible to clean it every time.We wanted a rag, but the staff seemed busy, so we just wiped the tatami with our own spare towels. There's no food, so I'll just go take a bath.Although it was a communal bath, it was a type of bath that could be locked and reserved for private use.I don't care about how old it is, but there's water stains on the bathtub...This is painful so take a showerThe one drink I was looking forward to at the bar was only available to customers with a meal included. Hmm 🤔It was different from what I thought lol Well, this is also my own assumption. So far, I've been able to hold on!Something that I thought would never happen...When I started to lay out the futon, I noticed a large amount of human hair on the futon and pillows...TorihadaAll 4 sets! There are no noticeable stains, but has it been washed? It looks like the comforter and sheets didn't arrive (´;ω;`)💦I borrowed a vacuum cleaner to remove it, but I was very worried. I went to bed thinking that the hair that had accumulated in the closet had flown around and landed on my futon.(Honestly, at this point I thought about finding a nearby love hotel or business hotel, but there were no vacancies.)The next day, my feet were itchy...it was probably a mite...Everyone enjoys it in different ways, so I thought it would be good for people who want to enjoy the sea to the fullest and just sleep in their rooms, but the unsanitary aspects didn't suit me.This post only highlights the bad aspects, but of course there are some good things as well. The store staff were also nice people who seemed to be nice people!Personally, it didn't suit me, so I wrote down the points that caught my attention!I hope this will be helpful for those who are concerned about the same things as me when choosing a place to stay.

Personally, the young staff were friendly and made me feel comfortable, and the sashimi and ginger grilled food were quite delicious. However, it was a shame that the large person who seemed to be the owner and his group were a bit noisy, probably because of the alcohol, and it felt a bit cramped. So I gave it a 3

Moana is a guesthouse with several rooms, so you have the freedom to come and go as you please. The daily rate with parking was ¥6000 for one person, a little expensive considering how clean the place is and the shared bathroom. There was sand everywhere. However, if you are looking for a place as close to the beach as possible, this is the place. The beach is literally Moana's backyard.

I can hear the voices next door.I spent the night unable to sleep as the people next to me continued to laugh loudly and say obscene language even after 12 o'clock. The building is old. The toilet is Japanese style and very difficult to use. The key to the bathroom was open to anyone.
