I stayed here on a family trip.This pension is run by a married couple and is child-friendly, including babies.The road on the way there is quite narrow, so you need to be careful as you navigate the mountain path.When we arrived and checked in, we were given a diaper bag and a toothbrush for our children.There is a kids room of about 6 tatami mats, and a space for children to play is prepared.There is a DVD recorder and DVDs for children, so parents and children can enjoy together.(Some DVDs are also available for adults.)There is also a tennis court where you can play.(My wife was pregnant, so I couldn't play tennis...)The outdoor bath has enough space for 3 to 4 people to take a bath at the same time.There is also an indoor bath (on a rotating basis).The rice is very delicious and a very satisfying dinner.My husband and I were treated with great care and we were able to spend a comfortable time with them.I stayed in a four-person room, but the four-person room is a loft, and loft rooms have a semi-double futon on top.When I go to Shimoda again, I would like to visit with my next child.

The inside of the pension is very clean and stylish, from the entrance to the rooms, toilets, baths (rock bath, indoor bath available for private use, hot springs), and dining room. The children's room (piano, TV, sofa, slide, toys), tennis court (racquets and balls can be rented), amenities were abundant, and the food was delicious! If you simply repaint the exterior of the entrance, such as the roof, it will look even better from the outside! Since you take off your shoes at the entrance, it's easy for even small children to stay overnight. There was also a place to throw away diapers. The room we stayed in had a loft with two beds underneath, and when you climbed up the ladder, there were two futons! The room has a refrigerator, TV, hair dryer, and sink. As soon as I left the room, there was a private toilet in each room, which was easy to use. Toothbrushes and face towels are provided in the room, but bath towels can be rented for a fee. The host was very kind and we had a great time! Everyone went home very satisfied.It was close to sightseeing spots by car, and the surroundings of the inn were quiet and nice! The road to get there is a little narrow.
