I was glad that I was shown to my room and was able to carry my luggage, but there were a lot of ants in the room, and when I entered the room, there were a lot of ants coming in and out of the window on the left. The building is older than other Livemax hotels, but the rooms themselves are clean except for some ants. The bath attached to the room is large and nice, but the temperature is difficult to control.I think the location is very good. There are Shimoda Underwater Aquarium and a roadside station nearby, and it's also close to Shimoda Station by car, so I didn't have any trouble finding food.

The hotel is located up the slope from the bus stop. There is a bath in the room where you can relax. On the other hand, there are only two washing areas other than the room bath, which is small.Dinner and breakfast are buffet. The lineup is pretty good.Dinner includes more than 5 types of sashimi, tempura, steak, and sweets.Breakfast includes seafood bowls and omelets that are baked on the spot.

Isn't this price too low, with an open-air bath in the guest room and a morning and evening buffet? ! It was the best with a nice scent of hot springs coming from the source. The customer service is also flawless. However, if you don't like insects, be careful...When I used it for the first time, three stink bugs greeted me in the room. When I used it for the second time, there was a large fly in the room and several stink bugs in the open-air bath...Other than that it's great!Anyway, it's a great value, so I'm sure I'll use it again.

The response is very good. I'm glad that both my brother and sister were smiling and we were able to talk comfortably. The people are really nice, but it's too bad that the knob in the room was broken.

I chose the largest room for a night and two meals at the lowest price on weekdays, but it can accommodate up to 7 people, but 2 people were using it. It feels more spacious than luxurious. A room in the middle was enough for two people. All meals are the same. The area is prone to insects, so it was buzzing while I was eating. I was able to log in to Netflix in my room with my own ID, so I felt relaxed. I felt there was no point in leaving the chair there if it was falling apart.

The atmosphere from the hotel was very good. All rooms have open-air baths. The temperature of the hot springs is high so you need to adjust it, but it's good because you can adjust the temperature to your preference! The buffet in the morning and evening had a wide variety of items and was very delicious.Pet fee included (please keep your pet in the room while eating. Cage and food bowl provided) It was helpful that there was an entrance at the back of the passageway in the room for taking a walk.I was a little worried about the different reviews, but this is an inn I'd like to stay at again. We recommend it to those who want to bring their pets along at a low price.Although I didn't use it this time, there is also a large public bath, pool, and sauna.

Dinner and breakfast are buffet-style, and when we run out of dishes, more will be added as soon as we run out. All of the dishes were delicious with just the right amount of salt. All of the staff are foreigners, but they are fluent in Japanese. There was a hot spring open-air bath on the balcony of the room. The only complaint is that there is no air conditioner in the changing area of the public bath. In Shimoda, Izu, a tropical country, the lingering heat was intense and I was drenched in sweat, so I returned to my room and took a shower. This is a hotel I would like to stay at again if I have the chance. To all our foreign staff, I know it must be difficult working in a foreign country, but I wish you good health.

I stayed for 2 nights on a weekday. The exterior of the hotel is old, but the inside is somewhat clean. As many people have written, the buffet style meals both morning and night are very rich. Sweets and ice cream are available at night. I guess it can't be helped that tempura and fried chicken are cold for this type of meal. There were other items that were kept fairly warm. Most of the staff are foreigners (at all Livemax locations), but they are very courteous. The problem is that you need a car anyway. From National Route 136, take the coastline road towards Taushi, and there are buses every 30 minutes to the national highway, but only once every few hours to the Goishihama bus stop near the hotel. It's a 4-minute walk from the bus stop, but it's a long tiered slope, so it's difficult to walk with luggage. I had sent a large travel carrier case in advance, but it was still difficult carrying the pet carrier on my back. When I came back by bus from Shimoda Station on Chunichi, four women were climbing the mountain with travel carry cases, and we were already exhausted. When I returned home, I took a taxi to send my travel carry case from the post office. It was small and cost 3,250 yen to get to Shimoda Station via Shimoda Post Office. The bus costs 590 yen one way. If you have a group of people, we recommend using a taxi, even if it costs a little more to split the bill. Other than the location, it was a pretty good hotel.
