It's not worth going. I'd rather pay the level. To access the bathroom, you first have to walk up a long flight of stairs to the fourth floor. There was a strong strange smell throughout the room.There was no curtain on the door of the changing room in the bathroom, so if another customer came in while changing inside, they could see through the door, and it was dirty and had a strange smell. Even when you enter the bath, you can see it from the outside thanks to the glass front. The worst part is that there is no hot water in the shower. lolIsn't it illegal to operate a business in this state?The other thing is the terrible customer service attitude of the elderly couple who work there.I will never go there again.

It was stolen here. Women really need to be careful. The bath was on the fourth floor, and the women's bath was completely visible from outside the window. Young men were filming me from the Max Value parking lot across the street. I was asked to leave the bath by another customer who was taking a bath, but it was really scary. I told the older and older employees, but they told me that the men's and women's baths are usually in different locations (I don't know if that's true), and that it's okay if I take pictures of the 4th floor from outside. That's impossible, don't apologize. Isn't it a crime to operate a business like this?

I stayed for 1 night during Golden Week.I have to go on an urgent trip and am looking for a place to stay.Luckily, I was able to get a place to stay on the 3rd, and it even came with a hot spring bath! !However, it was an unfortunate disappointment.There were large stains on the ceiling and sliding doors of the room, especially the ceiling was covered in black mold due to rain leaks, and when I went to take a bath, there was no hot or cold water coming out of the faucet.Therefore, women wash their bodies in the hot water in the bathtub, and the bathtub for women is small, and there is apparently not enough hot water at the faucet.I was convinced about the food after reading other reviews, and the menu hasn't changed for several years, so it's extremely stable.No elevatorNo vending machineNow 44,000 yen/2 peopleElectronic money and credit card payments are not possibleI was planning to pay by card, so I was out of cash all at once! !There doesn't seem to be any motivation for either the rabbit or the corner...

During my trip, I learned that you can use a day trip hot spring for 500 yen and stopped by.There are stairs to the observation bath on the 4th floor.When I entered the changing room, I noticed that there was no hair dryer, which gave me a bad feeling 🤢 The foot mats were damp, so they probably hadn't changed them since the morning...I'll turn on the shower right away huh? Only a small amount comes out. When I raise the nozzle to the height of my head, it's almost a drop. I can't wash my hair.Moreover, there are many green stink bugs around the lighting in the washing room🪲I'm giving it 2 stars because it's only one coin, but I probably won't stop by again 😓

Inarguably the best moment in our early-spring cycling trip when I soaked into the big bathtub on the top floor (accessible only by stairs!) and appreciated the Shimoda town view.The hotel, has got a little shabby survived through the history, broken and dysfunctional here and there, but still pretty much shining as an absolute relaxation foundation to tired travellers.The day visit charges for enjoying their onsen is reasonable like a gift.Every part of this building, strangely high-sensed art paintings, simply strange statues placed every corner, attentive experienced staff… all these make this old accommodation facility interesting and rewarding to visit and/or stay. A simple words to put,I love it here.

I gave it a 5 star because I took a day trip bath from 3pm on New Year's Day and it was only 500 yen!The men's toilet can only be used to urinate, and the shower doesn't have much hot water, so if you don't mind that, we recommend using the hot water directly from the source.2023.10.18The stairs and hallways were organized and beautiful! !The bathroom (men's) has improved considerably and is now clean, and there are chairs in the changing room!I still want the washroom floor and chairs to be a little cleaner, but I've raised the rating to 5 stars with high hopes!Also, at this time of year, it's cool even without air conditioning, so this ryokan may be more recommended in winter than in summer.ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー2023.8I used it for a day trip bath.You can enter for 500 yen per person, so if you think of it as a public bath, it's a ☆ 4.The hot water was 100% free flowing from a hot spring!There is one indoor bath and it is about normal temperature.Someone wrote that it was a bath with a view, but the men's bath is a bath with a full view! In a sense, it was interesting because it was a view like no other, but I think pros and cons will be divided.I heard that the bathroom had been renovated in a TV program, and it was beautiful, but I was worried about how long it would be maintained (^_^;)If you want to go, now might be your chance!The bathroom is on the 4th floor and there are only stairs.Air conditioning was not working in the stairs and hallway.There are a lot of negative points, but it's very cheap even though it's a hot spring bath, so as I've said many times, if you think of it as a public bath, I'd give it a 4 star.Day trip hot spring 15:00-21:00

Thank you for your help about 10 years ago.I remember that it was a spur-of-the-moment trip and I booked a room without meals on the same day, but I'm glad I was able to spend a relaxing time there.
