My experience with this Ryokan is rather disappointing, because they didn't tell us in advance that they don't accommodate dietary requirements and are not able to provide vegetarian breakfast. We booked our stay a few months in advance and got a message asking for dietary requirements and food allergies. I replied immediately, requesting a vegetarian breakfast, but didn't get a response until 2 weeks before our stay. They simply told us there wouldn't be vegetarian breakfast. This was a surprise, since other hotels provided very delicious vegetarian Japanese breakfast. We even would have been fine with some rice, natto and vegetables.I refuse to pay for food I can't eat, so unfortunately I had to cancel our stay.At this point we were already traveling and it was impossible to find other accommodations in Kinosaki Onsen. What bothers me is not so much that they don't accommodate our requests, but that they didn't care to write this in the hotel information or to contact us immediately after I made the reservation/request.If I had known in advance, I would not have made the reservation. And if I had known early enough, I could have found another ryokan in Kinosaki Onsen. Now, I can't visit at all and have to change my entire travel plans.

Stayed in mid-August 2024Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and filling. The abalone steak for dinner was especially delicious.Mr. Nakai is too quick and keeps coming back to empty plates, so it might be a little difficult to relax and eat.I'm glad that all meals were served in private rooms. For women, you can choose a yukata and it will give you a sense of excitement. The only thing I had was a pair of geta shoes for outside wear that had worn out soles, which made it difficult to walk, and it would have been nice if they also had a larger size for women.I was surprised at the 500 yen parking fee at the inn.The room was old but very clean and had most of the amenities. The inn is located in a remote area, so you have to walk through a very narrow road.I don't think there were any vending machines, so it's better to bring drinks etc. There's nothing in the refrigerator. Please note that the temperature of the air conditioner in each room cannot be adjusted individually. It is better not to expect a good view from the window. The hot spring tours are also very close, and I was able to visit them all with the hot spring ticket I received.I also tried the indoor bath and was quite satisfied.

It may be a little difficult to find as it is located in a secluded area. However, once you are inside, there is not much traffic, so you can enjoy a calm atmosphere.I had crab kaiseki, and everything was delicious and I was very satisfied!

Suizansou is a ryokan tucked away about 8 mins walk from the station. It is clean with beautiful morning views of greenery. Breakfast was delicious and staff were warm even though they did not speak much English. You get a pass to visit the 7 kinosaki public onsens.
