I think this is a great inn for those who love hot springs, where all of the large baths are sourced from the source. However, this former Kanpo inn has a fatal flaw: there is no open-air bath, only an indoor bath, and the Ginsen bath cannot be enjoyed inside the hotel.I think it will be difficult to improve this as it is a facility issue, but I feel the staff's hospitality is more than adequate. The location is far from the center, and if you want to walk there, the slope will get in the way, making it difficult. However, if you are not interested in that kind of thing and just want to enjoy the hot springs inside the hotel, I don't think there will be any problems.Good luck, Kamenoi-san.

I think it was good for the price at Arima Onsen, but the only thing that bothered me wasThe parking lot is narrow and there are pillars that stick out, so it's a little difficult to park if you have a big car.The futon and mattress are thin and not very comfortable. The person at the front desk smelled like alcohol, probably because he was hungover. The hall staff were foreigners and it was difficult to understand their explanations. The clicker in the bathroom was located low and difficult to use. However, the food is delicious and I have no complaints about this. It's also good that there is a water server! There are some things I would like to see improved, but I think it was good for the price, so I gave it a 4.

The dinner was delicious, but the person in charge of serving the food was a foreigner, so maybe he didn't know how to use the language, but when I asked for room-temperature sake, he was served hot sake, so I asked him to change it since it was room-temperature. However, I was surprised when I touched it and was told, ``It's not hot.'' It was so hot that I thought I'd get burnt, so I said, ``No, it's hot,'' and then I touched it again, and kept saying, ``No, it's not hot,'' which made me feel embarrassed. It may be unavoidable due to a lack of manpower, but it would be better to provide a little more education. Afterwards, another person in charge of serving the food came and apologized, and was very polite.

Anyway, the food is delicious.I don't think it's just a coincidence that the introduction on the official website says that a chef affiliated with this hotel won a cooking contest within the group.I felt that the taste could only be achieved by the chef's high level of skill in everything from how to prepare the soup stock to the degree of steaming. In addition, we were served Dandan noodles after dinner, which was also delicious.I can't deny that the building itself feels quite old, but the toilet in the room seems to have been recently renovated, and I felt that the necessary areas had been properly maintained. The next question is whether or not you can enjoy the old age if it has a taste.Although there is no open-air bath and the scenery is not designed to be enjoyed, I felt that it was enough to enjoy Arima's hot springs. It's far from the train station and hot spring town, and there's a difference in elevation, so it's honestly not very convenient, but if you contact them, they'll take you to the station.I was using the ropeway station the next day, so being close to that station can be considered an advantage. There are many things I can say about the age and lack of facilities, but considering the customer service and cost performance, it was a good accommodation for me.

The bath is not very large, but the quality of the spring water is very good. If you walk from the station, it's uphill, so it's better to use the shuttle bus.

I was able to fully enjoy Arima Onsen at a reasonable price. The structure of the building is a bit old, but it has been beautifully renovated. The bed in the guest room had a good mattress and pillow and I slept well. There is only one bathtub in the bathroom, and the hot spring is good, but there is no sauna. All dinners were delicious.Dinner was also free. (dandan noodles)The breakfast buffet will fill you up.Recommended if you want to relax in a hot spring at a reasonable price.
