I went there before the coronavirus spread, and even though it's the same hotel, the service is different. Well, since I was staying without meals, I stayed at the annex apartment-type hotel ``Shima Kaigetsu''. It felt like home, but I remember the rooms being cheap. Meals were either self-cooked, at restaurants, or at the supermarket, and the main building included luxurious meals.Shima Kaigetsu, which is in the annex, required reservations for the restaurant-like meals in the main building, so we ate elsewhere, but if you want to eat in the main building, you have to make a room reservation + meal reservation, so if you stay at Shima Kaigetsu, you can eat there. Maybe you should prepare for it.Well, that was about four years ago, but it wasn't that bad. Also, if I had to say, each room in the annex has a shower room, but the shower room is dirty and the ceiling is rotten, so I don't think I'd feel like taking a shower... If you're going to renovate, you should renovate the shower room too! I wonder if the shower room was that dirty.Well, other than that, there were household appliances and tableware, so everything except the shower room was fine.

good points・Low price・Enjoy the hot spring in the main building・You can receive some of the services at the main building.Bad points・No amenities (towel, toothbrush, yukata)・The noise is terrible from midnight to 1am.I couldn't hear the karaoke in room 2203, but I could hear young people fighting and yelling.Since it was a simple renovation, the lock wasn't very strong and the entrance was left open, so I was scared that someone might have gotten in while being strong and drunk. The public safety is clearly not good.If you are a woman, it might be better to stay in the main building even if you pay more.postscriptWhen I went outside to check out, I saw broken glass scattered on the road in front of me, and also encountered a police officer. Was this what the fuss was about last night? It may not always be the case, but it doesn't seem to be very safe. There was no announcement from the hotel regarding the above. It was scary... (What was it?)

It felt like an old housing complex type room that had been renovated, but the inside was clean. However, there is no elevator, so be prepared to make a reservation. (Since it is relatively cheap, please accept it even if it is on the 4th floor.)Please refer to the stairs. There were 14 steps to go up one floor. You can enter the hot springs in the main building for free, and the parking lot is flat and easy to park, so it's free, so it's a good deal on Awaji Island.Maybe it was because I stayed on a weekday in early April. The noise mentioned in the reviews didn't bother me. If you're worried, it might be a good idea to ask for a room far from the karaoke room when making your reservation.

Loud songs echo from the karaoke bar on the first floor all night long.

The room was in a renovated building that looked like an old housing complex, so I thought it was cheap and comfortable. Those staying at Shima Kaigetsu can check in at the reception desk by themselves. You can use the hotel bath. There are no amenities or towels, so if you want to save money, we recommend bringing your own towels, toothbrushes, etc.Pola cleansers, lotions, and emulsions can be used freely in the public bath. And it's time to sleep. As mentioned in other reviews, there seems to be a karaoke snack bar on the first floor in the back, and I could hear it at a reasonable volume until around 12:00 AM, so I couldn't sleep at all. Also, it was so dry that everyone who stayed there said they had a sore throat. When I was sleeping on the bed in room 2202, it was quite noisy, but the tatami room next door didn't seem to hear as much noise.I think room 2201 would be right above the snack bar, so it would be dangerous.I'm sure it's fine as a lodging facility. It would be a good idea to at least do some soundproofing.Check-out is easy as you just put the key in the box, butI definitely don't want to stay in the same room.
