A family of three with a baby (10 months) stayed here on a weekday after the August Obon holidays. The inn and Kumihama were great! It's a late timing, but I'm posting this because I seriously want to recommend it.The inn is just beautiful. There is no problem for babies to crawl in the hallways and rooms.I had reserved a futon for two adults, but they also prepared a small futon for me.Also, there was a trash can for diapers in the room, which was very helpful. Our family is new to sea leisure, but the flow between the inn and the sea was wonderful and we enjoyed it comfortably.Let's break down the process of playing in the sea.-First of all, pack your things so that you can go straight to the bath after returning from the sea.-2 minute walk from the inn to the sea•Play in the sea- Get out of the sea and wash away the sand from your body in the shower on the shore-Wash away the sand from your feet in the shower at the entrance of the inn-They provide a basket at the entrance for drying bath mats and sandals, which is very helpful.•Go straight to the bath-Since it is a family bath, the flow is smooth: father puts the child in, mother takes the child and puts on clothes, father takes a leisurely bath.*Bring your own towel for playing in the seaThe soft water felt very nice.Take the indoor bath with your child, and take a bath in the open-air bath after putting them to bed. From the open-air bath, I was able to enjoy the atmosphere of the fishing port, the sound of the waves, and the starry sky, making it very relaxing. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious!I was a little worried as my husband and I are big eaters because the dinner plan called for a "smaller portion," but we were very satisfied as we were able to enjoy the delicious food slowly.I was happy to be able to enjoy the meal with the children by giving them spoons, forks, and bowls of rice.Additionally, since the dining area was a private Japanese-style room, we were able to let our children play on the floor even if they got tired of eating, which allowed us to eat slowly. The host was very nice, and the distance was neither too close nor too far, making it a very comfortable stay.Kumihama is not a glamorous hot spring town, but it is a nice town where you can fully immerse yourself in the travel spirit. The rural scenery on the inland side and the cityscape around Kumihama Station were also nice.My impression is that it is more value for money than Kinosaki Onsen.Although you will need to travel by car, it is highly recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing time.

Definitely a recommended accommodation.First of all, the staff are absolutely wonderful. The beach is very close. High transparency.10:30 on the day you check in? They will store your luggage and car for you, and provide you with a place to change into your swimsuit. There is a shower outside for those returning from the sea, and towels are laid out at the entrance to welcome them. The food is delicious, luxurious, and has an extraordinary value for money.I was also impressed by the attention to detail.Although some parts have been renovated, the inn itself is a little old. Although the room had a bath, I was surprised that there was no changing room. But above all else, I would like to emphasize the quality of the staff and food. Also, the cost performance and location.

I've been to many places in search of crabs, but I've never found a better place to stay than here. The crabs and other dishes are all very heartfelt and delicious! There is no compromise in the slightest! And the inside of the restaurant is really clean. It has been well maintained, and I was impressed by the cleanliness of the toilets next to the front desk! In addition, women can choose a yukata for free, and there is also a coffee service (although you can do it yourself using a machine). The fluffy down comforter and pillows were of high quality and very comfortable. There are probably only a few groups of guests, and since it's not a large inn, you can really relax. The landlady, the husband, and the staff were all very polite and pleasant. And Kumihama is a really wonderful place. The scenery will soothe you. It has not become a tourist destination, and the atmosphere itself is natural, rustic, and soothing. It often takes 2 hours to get there from Kyoto or Kobe by rental car, but Amanohashidate is also nearby, so you can enjoy the beauty of Japan and its original scenery, so please come and visit us. Please give it a try ❣ I am confident that I am recommending it from the bottom of my heart, rather than the usual reviews with strong assumptions ❣
