This pension was created because the owner, who loves cooking, wanted to cook.I have been running a pension for about 20 years.It was my first time visiting.It was from 1/1 to 1/2, but the morning buffet wasIt was wonderful.Handmade items with over 20 items.Everything has been devised by handIt was very good.thank you very much.

I used it for one night during Golden Week. The food and drinks were delicious, and the open-air bath was very atmospheric as you could hear the sound of the nearby river! The picture is of a breakfast dish, but since bread was also served, it was quite filling. I made a reservation through Jalan, and there was a charge for towels and yukata (about 300 yen/sheet), and toothbrushes and hair dryers were also provided, so I didn't have to worry about that.

Paper Balloon is a pension located halfway up the mountain from Ajiro Station. Approximately 10 minutes by taxi from JR Ajiro Station or Izu-Taga Station (approximately 1,000 yen). This is a peaceful accommodation surrounded by the sounds of birds chirping and trees swaying in the wind.The facilities are simple but clean, the food is delicious, alcohol is an add-on to the accommodation fee, but the price is reasonable (starting at 270 yen for a 350mi can of beer), and the owner has dozens of homemade fruit varieties. There are many types (umeshu, blueberry, plum, kumquat, shiso, Japanese ginger, sesame...) and each cup costs 100 yen.There are indoor baths and open-air baths, and there is a day-trip hot spring called Myoraku-yu (extra charge) within a 10-second walk.You can also enjoy enzyme baths here, so you can also enjoy it in conjunction with your stay at Paper Balloon. .Within walking distance, you can enjoy the Masuo Ikeda Memorial Museum, which is about a 5-minute walk away, and the historic site of Ishichoba, where the stones for the stone walls were quarried and which contributed to the construction of Edo Castle, if you hike for about an hour.Kamifusen is a pension located halfway up a hill from Ajiro Station, about 10 minutes by cab (about 1,000 yen) from JR Ajiro Station or Izu-Taga Station. A bit outside of Atami. Very clean, delicious food. There is some bread for breakfast and coffee. Nice little outside spa.
