This is from 2022, so things may have improved now. When I entered the guest room, I was shocked to find that it smelled like cigarettes.I was surprised that there are smoking rooms available these days. When I strongly protested, I was asked to change my room, but the room only had an air purifier to purify the air, which was painful for Watanabe, who doesn't smoke at all. Also, the TV was extremely small, which was very disappointing even though there were programs I wanted to watch. The food was average.I thought it would be a good idea to call it a 4 star.

The bath is great. The room is showing its age.The buffet-style dinner and breakfast were also substantial.

I reserved a room for 2 persons from Oct 16th to Oct 18th via Agoda a couple months ahead of time. The hotel informed Agoda that they would not be able to accommodate my booking one week prior to my arrival, just stating that it’s “hotel issue”. It ruined our plan of travelling to Arima as the cost of hotel increased significantly just one week prior to our arrival. Needless to say it left us with a very sour taste of this kind of hospitality.Avoid this hotel at all costs unless you want to be disappointed.

The service is good, like getting a beer and changing towels frequently, but overall the building is old. Also, the food is average. It wasn't particularly tasty or bad, so I thought the inn was not worth the price. The names of the guests staying today are posted at the entrance, and most of them were from overseas, so I thought it was a hotel for foreigners. Perhaps because of this, some people didn't know the bathing rules, so they didn't pour hot water on themselves, got their hair wet with the bath water, and some Chinese people were talking loudly in the bath, so be careful when checking in. I thought that if I explained the details, other customers would also feel more comfortable.

No matter what food I ate at the buffet, I was disappointed...The meal alone costs 10,500 yen, but the quality is at the all-you-can-eat level for 2 to 3,000 yen.The building is quite old, but it has a nice atmosphere as it is located along the river.

It was a beautiful ryokan hotel with three hot springs. The staff was incredibly welcoming and had staff who could speak Korean. I wanted to go to a Kobe beef restaurant, so I asked the staff at the front desk if I could borrow their phone, and they looked up Tabelog and called me directly to make a reservation. I know it must have been a hassle, but thank you again Mr. Yano. On the way home, a free shuttle service was provided to the bus stop. Thanks to you, I had a perfect experience.A few drawbacks... Because it is an old ryokan, some worn-out parts are noticeable even though it seems to have been improved. I found it good, but it may be difficult for those with sensitive skin. It may be difficult to get to the hotel because it is located on a hill from the station or bus stop, but if you contact the hotel, they seem to provide a free shuttle service. please refer to this!+ Because of the iron content in Geumtang, I felt a slight itch when I first took a bath, but after returning home, I feel like my skin has become smoother. Arima Onsen is really good😄

About halfway through my 2ish week Japan trip i wanted to spend a night an Onsen near Kobe. Just something to kind of break up the hustle of the trip. I ended choosing Arima Onsen Gekkoen Korokan. …

Hi! We had a problem doing the reservation with Rakuten, we wanted to go on October, but apparently due to an IT error, it was placed on September. Rakuten is not helping us, is there any way to move the reservation to the correct date?If there is any way to contact you by mail to keep talking about it we would be really grateful

Stayed in Kiritsubo (room with open-air bath) for one night in August 2024.Paid over 240,000.conclusionNever use againreason①RoomThere was a musty smell everywhere, and several members of my family developed allergic symptoms. There are many steps throughout the room.It was advertised that a massage chair would be installed, but the massage chair I had at home was of a higher quality.②Dinner・1 whole extra-large tomato (with dressing)・Large serving of somen (I remember it being 3 colors)・There is no ice under the funamori sashimi・Is the sauce for steamed conger eel the same as for grilled meat? !It's not vinegar miso or plum meat.・Drink glass lukewarmI have no cooking sense.Given the price, I was quite disappointed.③The Nakai in charge is the worst・After starting the meal, the person makes urgent requests such as "We will finish eating at ◯ time."・Every time I order a drink, I get a disgusted look and say, "It's going to take a while, though."-Touching inside equipment containing personal items without the customer's permission.I couldn't relax at all because I was told not to disturb my work pace. The whole family agrees on this.``When that person comes, I get nervous, so I don't like it,'' he said.It is believed that this is the Nakai who has been in charge of Kiritsubo for many years.◯OthersThe two male staff members (names in katakana) in the lobby and near the entrance gave me a good impression of being efficient and attentive. From the above, there are many other inns for this price, so I will never use it again.I read in someone else's Google review that it was pneumonia. I felt the same way. I thought it might be the same Kiritsubo, so I was scared that I didn't feel sick for a few days after I got home, but I was okay. It's not a luxury inn.At high-end inns, they put all your statements and credit card slips in an envelope after paying the bill, allowing you to leave after finishing your bill, but there was no such consideration. When I was paying the bill, I made a mess and was disappointed until the end.The cost of studying was expensive.I thought I would use the bad reviews for future reference.
