An old inn where the hot spring where Minamoto no Yoritomo sat and bathed still remains. It was the closest inn to the source of the famous hot spring "Kona Onsen", which has been flowing since the Kamakura period, so I thought it was probably a good hot spring, so I stayed there. The Google reviews said it was old, but there are only reviews from before the renovation, and it's now a nice and clean inn.The bathtub is not 100% free flowing, but there is enough running water that you don't have to disinfect it, so it felt very nice to take a bath. The food was quite luxurious and the quantity was large.Lobster sashimi, crab legs, appetizers, steak, steamed abalone, fried red sea bream with herbs, etc...Anyway, the food was luxurious for the price, and the room was spacious and clean, so if you're thinking of staying in Izunagaoka, this might be a good place to stay.

This is a historic hot spring where Lord Yoritomo stopped by. The hot springs have a surprising amount of hot water flowing directly through them. It gives the impression of a maniacal hot spring inn, and the entrance is difficult to understand and narrow, so it's a bit of a struggle to get there. The rooms are clean, but the view is of a sloping roof, a historic shrine, and a stone quarry. It seems that the management has changed due to the coronavirus pandemic, but I understand that they are operating with a small number of employees and have had a hard time. It's a small place with only 15 rooms, so it's not a flashy place, but I think the hot springs here are worth a visit.

Thank you for taking care of me by taking a day trip bath.It takes about 15 minutes from Izu-Nagaoka Station by Hello Cycle rental bicycle. There is also a return spot nearby. It costs 1,600 yen including one small towel and drink buffet, and there are plenty of drinks to enjoy after taking a bath. There are plenty of amenities so you can go empty-handed. It takes a while for the sweat to subside after bathing in the alkaline simple spring water unique to the area. I went to a hot spring! Satisfied.Recommended for women who want to relax in a beautiful facility
