This is a mountain hut-like guest house (Yamakojuku) owned by Mr. Mojamaru, who runs the mountaineering equipment store ``SANKAKU STAND'' in Shuzenji. The first floor has a relaxing space, and the second floor has private rooms, a female-only dormitory, and a mixed dormitory. The old house has been renovated and has become a wonderful space. It smells like wood, and the lighting, chairs, etc. were selected by the proprietress, Maru-chan and Tomoja-kun, and it's cute. The bookshelf is lined with mountain climbing books, which you can read while sipping a handmade craft cola or latte. The beds are handmade and have space to put your backpack and charge your smartphone. In the relaxing space on the first floor, we hold events such as pop-ups of mountaineering brands, Mojamaru's American JMT thru-hike report, and Mt. Fuji thru-hike from the Sea of Japan to the Pacific Ocean and the Alps. This is a recommended guest house in Izu ✨

Only ¥4,400 (advance payment) for a room without meals (dormitory). Only one small towel is available for rent, so it's best to bring your own bath towel (as well as your toothbrush). There is a water server, tea, coffee, etc. 2024/8/25

This is a guesthouse run by a popular outdoor shop nearby. Thank you for your help during my family's trip to Izu. When I made the reservation, I was told about the hiking spots, so I went hiking in Shiroyama, had a drink at Kamiyama Fish Shop, and then stayed the night. The private room for three people was spacious and comfortable. I was able to relax in the lounge where hikers gather. My family also wanted to come back. Thank you for your help again. thank you

The living room is bright and spacious. I'm glad that the women's dormitory has a makeup area.Restaurants and convenience stores are near the station, so it might be better to buy some food. There is a large refrigerator.The fittings of the original old folk house have been well utilized, and the owner and his wife came in the evening and we were able to hear about the details of the furniture and interior design, making it a fun stay. All the books on the bookshelf looked interesting, so I will come again.

It's a little walk from the station. The residential area is more than I expected! I'm standing there. The staff will be home by 5:30 pm, and they won't be there until early morning, so when you leave, you'll have to lock the door and unlock the 🔓No. It had just opened, so it smelled like wood! The men's and women's dormitory rooms are separated to ensure privacy, and there is space for luggage storage that is not available in women's beds, making it comfortable! However, even when I turned on the faucet, the water from the tank for the welcome drink did not come out...The kitchen was also locked, so I had to draw water from the sink. I would also like to use it when hiking in the surrounding area!
