During Golden Week, we used the adjacent campsite! It was the best!Charcoal fires are not allowed at the campsite, so we recommend removing them from your luggage before hiking.

It was closed for the winter, but it was open to the public as a shelter, so I was able to use the front for lunch.

You can wash off your sweat in the hot water, and have a nice yakiniku dinner. The building is old, but I think the restrooms are pretty clean for a mountain lodge. I think it would be very popular if it were in the Alps.
