Located in front of a fishing port. The rooms are basic minshuku tatami with shared toilet and amenities. Some of the best seafood I ever had in Japan or anywhere prepared fresh from seafood procured from the fishing port. A bit remote but that is the point. It’s Japanese style so don’t expect luxury amenities but that is the charm of Oiwa. Owners and staff are super friendly. No English, use Google translate. A hidden gem.

There is really nothing special about this hotel, except the seafood feast. Shared bathroom facilities including sink, nice, if modest, onsen. …

This hotel has seen better days and was not that comfortable. It seemed understaffed as we couldn't find staff when we needed help. The onsen was rather small and the toilets and washbasins are communal. …

Probably the best restaurant in Japan.Typical Japanese food: sashimi, shells and other seafoods..Everything is extremely fresh and tasty. Lobster is amazing. The place is a bit old, but it doesn't matter as the food and service are amazing.

This is a guesthouse located at the fishing port of Cape Sada. Although it's called a guest house, it's a 6-story building that looks like a small inn. The fish dishes are delicious and it's luxurious for a guesthouse. The bath was also large and clean. The highlight of Cape Sadami is around the Cape Sadami Lighthouse at the western end, but if you want to enjoy the scenery in the morning and evening, it might be a good idea to stay here and spend some relaxing time.

Seafood is supposed to be the selling point, but it's not delicious.Hamachi is just a fillet with no flavor.Other dishes will taste better if made by amateurs. The only thing that turned out decent was the miso hotpot soup. The taste has deteriorated over the years.

I used it with my wife and a child in the lower grades of elementary school during the Golden Week of 2024. As expected, the location was in a place that could be called an unexplored area, and after driving for about an hour from the city center, we arrived at a guesthouse surrounded by the sea. The ocean is right in front of you, and you can feel the relaxing atmosphere. Well, when I entered the inn, there was no one there. . . I called out ``Excuse me'' in a loud voice and was guided to the hotel. The room we were taken to was a small Japanese-style room with 6 tatami mats. There was only a futon, a table, tea and sweets, a cushion, and a TV, but the environment was clean and adequate. There are no complaints about the shared bath and water facilities. Up until this point, I was thinking, ``I've found another good accommodation.''When I checked in, I was asked what time it would be for dinner, and when I headed to the dining area, there was no one there.I called out to him again, and he responded and sat down to the table. There was already a pot and stove on the table, a few cold small dishes, freshly fried gashira, about 5 types of sushi that looked like supermarket sushi, and 3 pieces of 4 types of sashimi.Huh? Although I thought the fish looked different from the pictures on the internet, I didn't worry about it and enjoyed the fish, as it probably depends on the day. (It's a bit of a shame, though.) After a while, a single spiny lobster and vegetables appeared where there was only a pot and a stove. However, it was late and I was already full with small side dishes and sushi, so I felt like it was too late. I stuffed about half of it and ate it, but I retired after eating half of the spiny lobster. It was such a waste, I felt so bad that I couldn't eat the precious food that I wouldn't normally be able to eat even though I paid for it.I thought it couldn't be helped and went to bed. The next morning, there was no announcement for breakfast, so I didn't know what to do, but my partner had gone fishing and hadn't come back, so I went down to the dining floor a little after 8 o'clock, but again, no one was there. I thought they were probably busy at breakfast time, so when I cleaned up the car and returned, my child had overheard the meal dispute in the room and had come to the dining floor to join me. A staff member noticed and announced the meal, but when I asked him to wait 10 or 15 minutes until my partner returned (around 8:45), the staff member's face changed and he said, "No. "That's..." he said with a puzzled expression. The situation made me feel sick and I refused breakfast. After that, I quickly packed up my things and headed to the checkout, where the landlady seemed to be saying sarcastically, ``I took the trouble to make this.''At the end, I felt so bad that I left.① There are no people② It's not like the sashimi platters you see online, but if you're looking for sushi, you can have rice porridge or udon noodles after the hot pot (if you can get it served quickly). Also, there are no dishes for children.③ There is no breakfast announcement. These three points caught my attention. Especially regarding ③, if you can't wait until later, shouldn't you tell them the day before? It was obvious that I wanted to get it done quickly, and it left me with a bad aftertaste.

November 2023I used it for solo touring. You can enjoy seafood dishes at reasonable prices.I think it depends on the season, but there seem to be a lot of strong winds, so I was worried about my bike falling over.

You can enjoy it even with children.A few years ago, I stayed with my family with an elementary school child. What impresses me most is the food, which is fresh, delicious, and plentiful. Thanks to this, my children have become fond of fish. The room had a great view of the port and was clean and tidy. The lobby is small, but there is no problem. The parking lot is a little far away, so if you have luggage, I think it's best to drop it off in front of the hotel and just park your car.The hotel is located at the tip of Cape Sada, so it's a little far away, but you can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.Overall, I would like to stay there again. If you found it helpful, please give it a "Like". thank you.
