We had a great time fishing and thoroughly enjoyed the meal they prepared for us. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. It was one of our favorite activities in our two weeks to Shikoku. I highly recommend Amago-no-sato!

This time we had a hard time catching fish, but the kids were having fun and that was the best part. The place to eat was also great, as I felt like I was back in the countryside. Don't worry, you can still eat even if you don't catch any fish. Don't forget to make a reservation, as you won't be able to go unless you make a reservation. I will go again.

There are 3 routes to get there. If you use Google Maps to navigate from Matsuyama City, routes 1 and 2 will appear, but we do not recommend them.①No. 379 (Roadside Station Hirota-Kyo no Yakata) via Tobe Town → Narrow forest road② Via the south side of Uchiko Town Hall → Many curves③ Via Hijigawa Junior High School → RecommendedIt takes about 30 minutes to arrive from Hijigawa Junior High School. There are only 4 places that are difficult to separate, so there is no problem even with large SUVs and one-box vehicles. There is a detailed route map of ③ on the Amago no Sato homepage.Make a reservation and visit. First, choose the food you want to eat. After being told the size, number, and species of fish required for cooking, we started fishing at the fishing pond.It takes about 50 minutes to catch 5 fish. 2 sweetfish and 3 rainbow trout. I started fishing for sweetfish before 11 o'clock, but in the first half I didn't get any hits. It became easier to catch fish in the second half. Relationship and inference between feeding times. At many fishing ponds, it is common to catch rainbow trout and grill it with salt. Amago is the main target of mountain stream fishing, and is a taste enjoyed secretly only by anglers. So, there is no reason not to aim for "Amago" at Amago no Sato. If you can't catch sweetfish, aim for rainbow trout. It's relatively easy to catch. When you finish fishing, the staff will cook for you. The cooking time was about 20 minutes.Recommended is sashimi. Both the amago and rainbow trout are fresh, so the flesh is tender and you won't find it at other fishing ponds. My wife's recommendations are the fries and amago zosui. The fries are freshly fried, crispy, and fluffy, so it's no wonder they're the most popular. Amago zosui is served piping hot and has a soothing amago soup stock. Both salt-grilled and charcoal-grilled, the flavor is good, and the candied sweet potatoes have a nice, gentle flavor. In any case, I didn't miss anything, and it was delicious from start to finish. Repeat is confirmed.I bought kanroni as a souvenir and took it home. For myself, of course. This was a high-level restaurant that transcended the level of a fishing pond. Thank you for the meal. Both indoor toilets are clean and safe for women and children. Hand soap and disinfectant are also provided.

The river fish dishes here are seriously delicious! !I catch what I will eat and ask the shopkeepers to pay for it. It's the best! !There are various menus, but I recommend the A set meal.Choose what food you want to eat, receive a mission to catch fish, and complete the registration process. If you catch too much fish, you can take it home for an additional fee. I also had the internal organs removed. The fish will be placed in a nylon bag filled with ice, so we recommend bringing your own cooler.

I stayed here on my way to Kyushu.Although the building has been around for many years, the rooms, toilets, and baths were all carefully cleaned and I felt very comfortable.Children's works are displayed here and there, making it feel like you're visiting a relative's house. The food was really perfect, and I had the rice for dinner replaced with a bowl of salmon roe with river fish, and it was delicious. For breakfast, there was an amago dish that was not available for dinner, and it was delicious. It seems like you can cook the fish you caught yourself.Next time, I would try to check in earlier with that in mind. The candied amago that we had for dinner was so delicious that I bought it and took it home, but it was better than the souvenir shop in town.Since it was cheap, I recommend buying it at Amago no Sato.

I thought it was a little late, but I was impressed by the many fireflies! It's like illumination☆It's Hijikakara Roadside Station, so you'll need some courage. But I'm sure you'll be rewarded! My children love fish thanks to Amago no Sato ♡

It's good that the price for rainbow trout and amago is the same.Amago is tough. The amago I caught was fried, and the rainbow trout was made into sashimi, and they were delicious. The road is narrow in places, so be careful.

We crossed a rickety road and a road that was difficult to separate from and arrived at "Amago no Sato".We were greeted by cute children and enjoyed fishing for red trout with them. When I asked for the fish I caught to be cooked rather than taken home, I was told that reservations were required.I didn't have a reservation, but I'm grateful that they kindly cooked for me.You can also enjoy fishing, cooking, and lodging.
