100% nostalgic, an old Japanese-style guest house✨Shimanami Kaido - Yumeshima Kaido I used it on a 1 night and 2 day bicycle trip. This is a type of guest house that was renovated from an old private house, and it was a comfortable inn with wooden floors and tatami mats. It was difficult to find the location the first time I went, but I was able to find it safely after asking the neighbors.I paid in advance and didn't have a key, so I was able to self-check out. There is also a valuables box. There are two bathrooms, a bath with a bathtub and a shower booth. The rule was that you had to pay 100 yen to use the towels, washing machine, and dryer yourself. We recommend that you prepare as much change as possible so that you don't need change.It is fully air conditioned, but outside of midsummer it is often cool even with the windows open and screened. Since it is an old private house, there is a slight rattling noise from the door when there is wind, but if this bothers you, I think it will be easier to sleep if you use the free ear plugs.The toilet has been renovated and is comfortable as well.The kitchen was equipped with everything convenient for those who like to cook for themselves, such as a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster.I was able to wash my bicycle clothes in the washing machine and dry them in the courtyard, so they dried quickly. It's washable, so you don't have to bring as many changes of clothes.The owner was also kind. Reservations can be made by email or phone. It was a pleasant experience staying in an old private house. thank you very much.

Magnificent guesthouse, opened in 2019...The owner is SUPER NICE, speaks English and happily helps with reservations to eat at local restaurants. Yugeshima is magnificent, calm, welcoming.Enjoy the salt ice cream 👌

Not near the main road, but easy to find using Google Maps. Traditional Japanese house with tatami. Washing machine and drier. There is a nice inner court, and bicycles can be placed under the roof at the entrance of that court. Friendly manager. Large common spaces.

Used in Cycling ShimanamiIt was a luxurious room for one person.This is a guest house in Yuge town.All equipment is availableThe sunset was beautiful and I saw Ikuchi Bridge and Ikuina Bridge.I was impressed.There is a bath and showerThe bath at Fespa was also nice.I was able to stay comfortably.

Perhaps because there were no other guests staying, the owner told me to use the room as I wanted, so I was able to use it however I wanted.Anyway, it is a private house that has been thoroughly cleaned and has a clean feel.Refrigerator/freezer, laundromat, dryer, bath, microwave, tableware, etc. Everything was available, so it was difficult to find anything we were missing. Payment can be made using PayPay, which was helpful.I stayed for 2 nights, and I had a great time using it. thank you.

I spent two nights on the Yumeshima Kaido Ride🚲, my first time on the Shimanami Kaido. The first day was a bit of a disaster, but I was saved by a laundry with a dryer. With complete facilities such as Wifi and washlet, it is a recommended accommodation for workdays.The location allows you to reach the east and west coasts of Yuge Island within a few minutes' walk, so if the weather is nice, you can see beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Last week, I used it on my Shimanami Kaido and Yumeshima Kaido Charidad 🚴♂️ trip. Located on Yuge Island, it is also close to Yuge Port. The guest house is an old private house that has been renovated and is well-maintained, making it a very comfortable and relaxing house. I recommend it 👍

Renovated to a style that suits modern life while retaining the good qualities of Japanese houses.While staying without meals, there is a shared kitchen that can be used for a variety of purposes, including a cooking area and tableware that you can use freely if you bring your own ingredients, a Japanese-style bath and a shower room with laundry facilities, and a shared toilet on each floor. Separate facilities for men and women, free Wi-Fi, and a wall-mounted stand for cyclists. This costs 4,000 yen per room per night.Recommended.
