I was wondering if I should try the oden set meal that I didn't get to eat last year, but I ended up having the Tengudake curry, which is only available on Saturdays and Sundays! The curry after climbing was amazing!

Ishizuchi Shrine Summit Lodge is a mountain hut located at the summit of Mt. Ishizuchi, a sacred peak in Ehime Prefecture, Shikoku. Operated by Ishizuchi Shrine, the lodge caters to pilgrims visiting the mountain as well as hikers. It offers a shop, dining area, rest space, and accommodation for those staying overnight.The lodge operates seasonally from spring to fall and is closed during the winter months. During the open season, it operates daily without breaks.Visitors can use the tables in the lodge’s hallway for resting, even if they are not staying overnight. However, please be mindful of others and avoid occupying the space for extended periods.

It was my first time climbing Ishizuchi in 18 years.I only used it for a day trip, eating and shopping.It was undeniable that my physical strength was declining, and it took nearly twice as long to reach the summit as when I was in my 20s, so I arrived late at around 2pm, but thank you for making a delicious meal for me.When I was paying the bill, I saw a notice saying ``There is a shortage of 100 yen coins,'' so I decided to pay for everything in 100 yen coins. When you're on the mountain, you can't go to the bank right away, so it's hard to prepare change.If I have a chance, I would like to stay overnight.

This was my first time staying at the Ishizuchi Shrine Summit Lodge.The staff took great care of me, and I was able to enjoy a very exciting and luxurious time!Lunch is a Chinese bowl that is only available to hotel guests and is not available on weekdays!I had a croissant for my 3 o'clock snack.In the evening, there are no day-trippers and you can enjoy the view of Tengudake from the quiet summit.Feel calm during the solemn evening worship.For dinner, we have Ehime's famous jakoten tempura a la carte, and the evening version of the famous curry is a luxury with lots of meat and toppings! Comes with pon juice!The sake you can drink at the top of the mountain is also especially delicious.When the lights are off at 9pm, I lay out the futon in my bedroom and it's fluffy and super comfortable!I was able to sleep soundly until morning.After enjoying the sunrise, feeling refreshed at the morning worship, having a hearty breakfast, and relaxing after the meal, I folded my futon and prepared to go home.As I descended the mountain, I felt sorry for the last thing I had left, and as I watched, I blew a conch shell to see me off. We turned around and waved, and it was a pleasant stay at the mountain lodge until the end.I would love to stay again (^^)

Early in the morning on the 25th, I encountered a beautiful woman climbing up the mountain like a monkey. Later, I met the staff at the mountain hut. An oasis in the desert. Vegetable curry at the top of the mountain🍛It was delicious.
