It's been 7 years since I last visited, but I still have vivid memories of this inn. I stayed here for one night as I was returning from Shikoku to Kyushu. On this day, the wind was so strong that I thought it was a typhoon, and the glass windows in the retro inn room rattled all night, but I was excited as I remembered the Ghibli works. I remember. The rice is simply exquisite. It was really delicious, and even now, 7 years later, I still suddenly think of it and want to go stay the night. A short walk from the inn will take you to the ferry terminal, so we recommend it for ferry users.

I've been wanting to stay at this wooden inn near Misaki Port for some time now. Uchiko: I stayed at this inn near Cape Sada while sightseeing in Ozu. It is believed that it was built from the Taisho era to the early Showa era. The staircase from the entrance that gives you a sense of the times, the second floor where there is a room for guests, the shared lounge space in the common room, and the hallway leading to the toilets give it a great atmosphere. It's a very quiet inn, and although it has been renovated and repaired in some places, it has a stylish space that makes you feel at ease. The jazz flowing quietly in the common space on the second floor, which used to be a guest room, creates an even more relaxing atmosphere in this building! The sashimi platter of fresh fish caught that morning that was served for dinner was so fresh that it lacked flavor, but the crunchy sashimi had a freshness that could only be found in this area. I'm very satisfied. Next time, after staying at this inn, I would like to take a trip to Oita on the ferry right in front of me.

This is a retro wooden inn. Although it is an old building, I was impressed by the ingenuity that the innkeepers put into making their guests enjoy their stay. There is a suikinkutsu and Tannoy speakers play JAZZ, so you can enjoy it.Of course, both dinner and breakfast were a great feast in terms of quality and quality.
