I stayed at Auberge in Tobe because it was really nice.Meals are prepared and served not in the kitchen space, but in the kitchen space in the back. For some reason, I can't relax when someone suddenly enters this space (entering through a different door). You can't use the open-air bath at any time, and the temperature of the water will be adjusted at times such as after meals, but there is no one to tell you that you are going to the back, so when you happen to go there, an employee will turn on the water. It's kind of awkward that he's doing it for me... It would have been nice if I could have gotten to know the employees better, but perhaps due to my lack of communication skills, I didn't feel like I was enjoying the conversation or relaxing in a house. If you don't mind the presence of other people, you may be fine. The space was lovely. 300,000 yen per night, which I felt was expensive for two people. I think it would be better to stay at the auberge for 2 nights.

This inn is limited to one group per day and is unknown even to locals. I am grateful not only for the luxurious space and scenery, but also for the chef and sommelier who came just for this one group.
