The service you get for the price is terrible.I stayed in the annex, but it was like a shared house, so you could go to your room from the common space. There was no air conditioner or refrigerator in the room, and I was told to use a shared refrigerator. There were ants in the fridge that someone was trying to cool down (maybe they got in there by themselves...) so I didn't feel like chilling the drink I brought.I don't feel it's worth the extra money to go there.

I can't complain because it's cheap, but the quality of the room is quite low.Although it was a Japanese-style room, there was no air conditioning, so I think it would be difficult in the summer. The hot springs and food were good.

Suitable for people who like mountain climbing and hot springs. Located on the top of a hill.Don't worry, there is a circulation bus until the evening. For 100 yen, you can eat freshly prepared meals. There are no seasonal special rates to Yubatake.10 minutes walk, winter heating fee 500 yenI came to Kusatsu from a nearby hot spring area.As expected, Japan's No. 1 hot spring, I wish I hadn't taken a detour 😍

It said that a hair dryer could be borrowed, but it was the one placed in the bathroom. You cannot take it to your room. And if you use it normally, the breaker will trip. While I was soaking in the bathtub, it suddenly became pitch black and I wondered what I should do.Apparently it can only be used by one person in either the men's or women's baths, and only in the weakest of winds. When asked how to check what other people are using, he said, "Listen."I think winter is a matter of life and death in the cold climate of Kusatsu. Also, please note that there are no bath towels, only face towels. There was also a kettle available for rent, but it was a warming pot rather than a kettle pot.So when I wanted hot water, I had to go to the cafeteria and get it.We stayed over New Year's Day, but it was so cold that even if it wasn't snowing, we couldn't sleep after turning off the heating.Of course, there is no humidifier, so I wish there was at least a kettle. There was a yukata, but not a hanten, so I don't think it would be possible to spend the winter in just a yukata or wear nightgowns. The person who seemed to be a repeat customer brought pajamas with fleece top and bottom.Check-in was at 2:00 pm, but even at 2:00 pm, there was no one at the front desk, and no one came even when I pressed the call button. Before long, more and more guests were arriving, and I couldn't fit in the front desk, so I had no choice but to go to the dining room, which was open.In the end, I had to wait over 15 minutes. There was no heating and everyone was freezing. The husband seemed to like to talk, and was talking to various people about things like how to enter the hot springs in Kusatsu.I've been to Kusatsu several times, so I just listened without asking any questions, so I ended the conversation early, but even after I finished speaking, I kept standing next to him, just asking for something. It was so runny that it was difficult to eat.The room is exactly as described. It shakes every time someone opens and closes the door.It makes a thud every time I walk.I think the people who said they had a clean room and didn't have to worry about noise were the ones who stayed in the annex.Even during the year-end and New Year holidays, the price is normal, so it is recommended for those who want to enjoy Kusatsu at a low price and don't mind anything since the accommodation is just for sleeping.

Even during the high season at the end of the year, this is a guesthouse where you can stay at a reasonable price of 8,500 yen including one night and two meals. With a kotatsu and a small TV in your room, you can fully enjoy the feeling of being at home in the countryside. Everyone at the hostel is also kind. Although the facility itself is old, the heating equipment and hair dryers are relatively new and are sufficient.Don't worry about the details. At check-in, I told a foreigner whose Japanese was somewhat stale that dinner would be served at 6:30 pm, but it was already 6:00 pm. ), there was only stir-fried vegetables on a large plate that looked like the main part of breakfast (I expected something hot to come separately), and I was almost charged the full amount for my accommodation even though I had paid the entire amount online with points, and I was often charged the full amount for my accommodation even though I paid for it with points online. The bathing tax, parking fee, and heating costs cost nearly 1,000 yen, and the change was also misplaced.

Thank you for staying with us for two nights from December 28th at the end of the year.placeIt's a little far from Yubatake and Busta, and it's on a hill, so if you have a lot of luggage, you'll run out of breath.A town bus comes to nearby La Vista, but the frequency is...roomThe main building is a guesthouse, but the annex is a stylish lodge. The annex is a separate building, 1 minute walk away.I can't hear the sound from the next room, but I can hear the sound from the hallway. The person next to me happened to be going to the bathroom many times late at night, so it was quite noisy.I'm used to it, but families...hot springIt's only available in the main building. This is Kusatsu's famous hot spring. However, this hot spring smells like iron. Is it rust from the pipes or is it from the hot springs? Either way, it's a famous hot spring.Bathing hours are strict from 6-9.15-22.mealDinner is Tonkatsu Gozen. We also have some original plum wine. This plum wine is amazing. This amount of brandy-soaked plum wine costs 700 yen, which is a bargain. You should definitely order it when you come here. It's tongue-in-cheek. The food is not luxurious, but it is delicious home-cooked food. By the way, the menu was the same for breakfast and dinner on the second night.serviceThe owner, a former professional skier, warmly welcomed us and provided us with amenities that I had heard would be available for an additional fee. (Is there a separate charge for staying without meals?)I was very satisfied with the fun ski board.General reviewThere are various points to keep in mind, but 8,500 yen per night for one person at the end of the year is too expensive. The point is that even just one person stays, and to be honest, if they were able to accommodate a single guest at this rate at this time of year, they wouldn't be in business.I felt the extraordinary compassion and warmth of the management. It's a perfect score without any complaints. Thank you for your help again.

Reserve at Jalan for 5000 yenA heating fee of 500 yen and a hot spring tax of 200 yen will be collected separately. The sound of the hair dryer on the first floor can be heard in the rooms on the second floor. The toilet door is poorly placed and you can hear the noise every time someone goes to the toilet.TV remote control is out of batteryA parking fee of 300 yen that was not used was added to the bill. The power supply in the changing room was connected to a daisy chain, so it makes sense that the hair dryer would trip the breaker. The futon and blanket were so heavy that I couldn't sleep.I tried to get it cheaper, but it turned out to be expensive because of the extra charge, so I should have gotten a better accommodation.

The room looks like it was written by someone else. Once I closed the door, the noise didn't bother me that much. The food was delicious, and the owner was friendly and easy to talk to. If you walk for about 10 minutes, you can also enter Kusatsu's free hot springs.
