I stayed at this inn because I was collecting stamps from the Japan Hidden Hot Springs Association on my way back from mountain climbing. The open-air bath is a heated hot spring, so you can stay in it for as long as you want.My body felt so warm and it was great. I used the indoor bath to wash my hair and body with boiling water. It was also a good temperature. The room was for two people, but it was a mysterious style with one futon set and one bed arranged separately. The refrigerator is old, but it cools down properly.Dinner has a lot of variety, but the cold items are cold, and the hot items are also cold. I felt that it would have been great if they had freshly grilled rock fish and yamame trout rather than the small dishes that were not very tasty.Breakfast didn't have natto or eggs, but it was delicious with lots of wild vegetables. Most of all, I was soothed by the cute smiles of the elderly ladies serving the meals and guiding us around.Hospitality is perfect. As the number of member inns for the Secret Hot Springs Protection Association is decreasing, I have decided to end stamp collecting for this time only lol.

The food is delicious and the service is good. The indoor bath is not a hot spring as it is carefully selected and cold. The men's and women's open-air rock baths are heated with circulation, but the water is just lukewarm, so you can stay in them for a long time.Only the small cold water bath in the open-air rock bath is fed directly from the source.Elevator and Wi-Fi available.

Day trip bathing is available for 700 yen! There is an indoor bath and an outdoor bath, but they are not connected, so I only used the outdoor bath! The hot water was very nice 👍However, there are a lot of horseflies in the bathtub this summer, so there was a mosquito net hanging over the bathtub! Also, there is a locker to put your valuables in, but the key doesn't have a band or anything, so it might be a bit of a problem when you take a bath. The day trip bath was never crowded, but there was quite a lot of people coming and going!

I went on a Saturday afternoon for a day trip bath.As of June 2024, day trips until 3:00 pm cost 700 yen. There are indoor and outdoor baths. The indoor bath is located at the back of the building and is said to have added water. As soon as I passed the front desk, I put on my slippers and went outside.I like open-air baths, so I went outside without hesitation. There were simple lockers. In the changing room, there is peppermint water and woven hats to repel insects. There are two washing areas. The bathtub was great. Greenery and blue sky while listening to the sound of the river. The temperature is around 41 degrees, so you can stay in the water for a long time. There is also a tsubo bath that is fed directly by the source, and it is a cold spring of about 14 degrees, so it is endless if you take turns bathing in it.

Secret hot spring protection association 5th hot springTo the Nakajuku where the downpour was as strong as a warning. It was a bit of a test.I am grateful that I can stay alone. The indoor bath and outdoor bath had separate sources.Since I stayed overnight on Sunday, I was able to soak in the hot water slowly all the time. There was a smoking area in front of the stairs leading down to the open air, which I appreciated. The food was delicious, mainly consisting of wild vegetables.Breakfast...I wanted eggs or natto...The room was spacious and clean.

I used it in the summer. There were 2 groups of guests including us.On this day, there seems to be only one open-air bath, not separate for men and women, so please use them in order.Looking at this guest, I understand that it can't be helped. The hot water is brown and cloudy.Due to the season, there were a lot of horseflies, so mosquito nets were put up all over the place.Cold mineral spring? I entered with excitement.Perhaps because of the season, there was a lot of lightning and it seemed to rain at night. It was dark at night so I couldn't see much, but when I came in in the morning I saw all sorts of things floating (leaves aside, caterpillars...)It can't be helped since it's in nature. It was a little creepy, but...I think I would have had a different mood if it had been in autumn or winter.Hidden hot spring, I wish you all the best!

I used the day trip bath. There is an indoor bath and an outdoor bath, so use the outdoor bath with 100% natural hot spring water. There are two washing areas and the bathtub is not very large, but it is close to the riverside and has lots of greenery, giving it a great sense of openness. The hot water is boiled from a cold mineral spring source and is warm at 38.8℃ when bathing. There is a small pot next to the bathtub where you can soak in the hot spring water. It's cold at around 24 degrees, but taking alternate baths will enhance the warming effect. The hot spring water is rich in magnesium, and the rocks have a brownish color, but the hot water gives the impression of being relatively smooth and draining easily. The water is lukewarm, so it may not be suitable for people who like hot water, but it is recommended for those who are particular about the quality of the spring water.
