My wife and I made a reservation at Kusatsu Onsen Kusaan, which is right in front of us because we wanted to see the hot spring fields. The entire hotel has a modern Japanese feel. The staff's hospitality was excellent and I felt very comfortable. The bath was also available for private use by reservation. When you step out of the hotel, the Yubatake field spreads out in front of you and is very impressive. Kusaan makes me want to stay again. We were even provided with a room with a view of Yubatake, so we had a great trip.Thank you very much for your help!

It's nice that it's right in front of Yubatake, but the service is unfriendly. It seems like they are trying their best to improve the breakfast by making it free of charge because of the reviews that the breakfast is not good, but I don't think that's the case in the first place...I think it's fundamentally unkind. The car was quite far away, so I was told that I would park at an affiliated hotel and that a bus would pick me up from there, but I didn't have any information about the bus, so I didn't know how it would work. What's more, even though they said check-in would be late, there was no information about the last bus time or that there would be no taxis at that time, so I was in a lot of trouble, and the affiliated hotel sent me a ride. The end. Also, this time, on the way back, they just gave me a bus timetable, but they didn't tell me where the bus stop for this hotel was. . .Also no slippers were found in the room. There was one other thing that made me feel unkind, but I forgot...The bath is quite small. It's nice to have a private bath, but the bathtub is limited to 3 people. The quality of the spring water is mellow and good.

The hotel is right in front of Yubatake, so it's conveniently located to go anywhere. Guests can enjoy a footbath for free. This is an inn where you can only stay without meals, but breakfast is a light buffet style with bread and egg dishes. There is a private bath available, and reservations are required for each hour. It felt very good. The staff at the hotel are also very accommodating, recommending restaurants, and giving a very warm welcome, so this is a hotel I'd like to come back to again. The room was large enough for two people and was very clean. However, I deducted one star from the room because I could hear the voices of my neighbors and the sounds of people walking in the hallway, so I thought the walls were thin, but I was satisfied with the hotel.
