The campground was built on the ruins of a castle overlooking the city of Takachiho, and the air was very clean and it was a relaxing place.

I stayed for two nights from April 11th.Anyway, the location was amazing, especially the sunrise.As mentioned in this review, one night wasn't enough to see the swaying streets of Takachiho while riding on the swings, and the Kagura performance was recommended by the manager, so it's a campsite that I'd like to come back to again.

Visited on a weekday at the end of March 2024.It was reserved. 2600 yen for 2 adults.It's not an auto site, but cars can drive right up to the site, so I was able to make it into an auto site.Although the facilities are minimal, they are kept clean so I had a comfortable stay. I would like a heated toilet seat if possible, but it's cheap so I'm fine with it 😉Above all, the scenery is beautiful. The night view was beautiful as well. Unfortunately, it rained in the morning so I couldn't see the sunrise. There is a large turret, so cleaning up after the rain seems to be less of a burden.I would like to use it again when I'm nearby.thank you for helping me.

This is an amazing spot. Over looking Takachiho, feeling far away, but only 3 km from the city center. Just be ready for some hills. The owner is also very nice. I enjoyed speaking to him as he knew a little English and I know some Japanese, fun language exchange. Hot shower, cooking and cleaning area, wifi, and a nice lawn, everything you need. I hope to come back one day. I camp all over the US, and this ranks up there with the best spots I have camped.

This is a campsite on a hill with a panoramic view of Takachiho Town, and there are only free grass sites. You can park your car next to the lawn area. The price is about 1,800 yen per person, but it's convenient because it's close to Takachiho Gorge, the toilets are clean, and the showers are free and available 24 hours a day.

Available on Sundays and Mondays in the second half of October.I was setting up in a long T-shirt during the day, and it got a little sweaty.It started to get cold little by little from around 15:00.At night, a bonfire makes you feel warm.It was cold by the time I went to bed, but if I had a winter sleeping bag, I could sleep in a long T-shirt.There are supermarkets, drugstores, and roadside stations within a 5-10 minute drive, making it easy to shop. There is also a gas station, so I don't think you will have any trouble refueling.There's also a home center, so don't worry if you forget to buy something.For the bonfire, use your own sheet, 2 wooden sticks, and a board at the reception desk? It's ok to borrow something like this.There is no need to worry as the water and restrooms have electricity at night.The shower attached to the toilet is free and has hot water 24 hours a day!There is a daytime manager for management, etc.He came to work early in the morning and was a great person to talk to.In the morning, I had a wonderful time watching the sunrise and a sea of clouds.thank you for helping me. Thank you 🙌Overall it was a good campsite!

The starry sky was amazing! It looked as beautiful as a planetarium.And the location has a beautiful view of the ridgeline.Quiet despite being close to town.A divine sunrise and a faint sea of clouds.There is even a free shower in the toilet.The manager is also kind.I really had a great time!

Privately run campsite.The ridgeline is beautiful.The morning sun is beautiful.The toilets and kitchen are clean.I was a little scared when I heard from the manager that they were wiped out in a night attack.

We used one tent tarp each and a bungalow (9 tatami type).The ground of the tent site is flat, easy to peg, the lawn is beautiful, and the view is spectacular, overlooking Takachiho town.My child loved the swing and played all the time.Overall, I had a good time using it. This is a campsite that I would like to visit again.

I used a free site. The lawn was well maintained and I was able to spend a comfortable time there. There is a kitchen, flush toilet, and shower facilities, and guests can use the showers free of charge.Anyway, the scenery was amazing and I was able to see the sunrise and a sea of clouds.Takachiho Gorge is nearby, so I went sightseeing on the way home.

I've always camped near the border of Miyazaki and Kumamoto prefectures, but I didn't know about the Nakayama Castle campground. I rented a log house for 10 people, and it was the cheapest and most spacious of all the log houses I've rented so far.It was convenient for shopping and the supermarket because it only took about 10 minutes by car. .I'll bother you again.

I think it's a very good campsiteThe cost is 800 yen per person and 1000 yen per tent, but you can attach it to the side of your tent from the parking lot, making it easy to clean up and prepare.I also think it's good that it's close to the tourist name of Takachiho.However, convenience stores and Cosmos are far away, so it's a good idea to stock up on supplies for drinking alcohol.It's in a high place so the view is good.However, I think that cold protection is essential during the winter season.The kitchen and toilets were well maintained and clean.I think the negative points are the narrow and difficult to understand route and the part where trash is prohibited.

Stayed one night (October 9th). It was pretty cold! It got below 16 degrees celcius. The campground is beautiful with a nice aerial view and beautiful night sky. There's free shower with warm water available and the toilets/restrooms are pretty clean. Cost for 1 night was 1800yen.

Thank you very much for letting me use your service even though it was a walk-in. The location is one of the best in recent years, and the view overlooking it from a height gives a divine feeling, truly a place where the gods gather.Unfortunately, I have to take my trash home with me, which is difficult for me as I travel by bike, although I think this is due to the coronavirus.Maybe the manager is a descendant of the castle lord?
