We stayed here for one night with 2 adults and 1 infant on a trip to Karuizawa. Actually, I had visited before my wedding, and I came back this time.Dinner was very delicious and the children had someone to talk to.The open-air bath was compact, but quiet and relaxing.I was very happy with the small details such as being able to drink alkaline ionized water and having my photo taken when I left! 😊

The location of the hotel is more suitable for self-driving travel. It is above the center of Karuizawa and is very convenient to the city center by driving. The parking lot is quite large. All the service staff in the hotel are very warm and considerate. Although the evening receptionist I met has weak English communication skills, But he was very friendly and made us feel very at ease. The hotel room was relatively small, with no view to speak of. There was a slight smell at first, but the situation improved after turning on the air conditioner and air freshener for a while. Although the hot spring water is not a natural hot spring water, it is still hot enough. Unfortunately, there is no sauna.Later, I read the reviews and found out that there is a new building. I think the room we got is an old room, so the overall facilities are full of signs of use and are dilapidated.

I liked that the staff at the front desk were courteous and the bathrooms and amenities were well stocked.Dinner started at 8pm, but after about an hour,“Do you want to eat the next dish? That’s impossible, right? At this pace. The others haven't been able to eat everything either."I was told, "I'll take it down now," and the food I was eating was taken down as well.It was certainly quite voluminous, but it was a shame because it was delicious and I enjoyed it slowly.Since it was a course meal, I thought it would take about 1.5 to 2 hours to eat.The staff's way of speaking was sloppy, and the cutlery provided was inconsistent and lacking. There was almost no explanation of the dishes.
