Sometimes a nearby hunting dog comes over.Be careful not to leave food or leftovers outside as they will be hunted.I bring dog food and feed him breakfast. The ground is full of gravel or stones, so if the pegs are accessories or aluminum, they will die instantly. Bring a sturdy cast iron one or a titanium one that can easily get between stones. The shower room does not have a drainboard or changing area, so you have to leave your footwear outside the door before entering.I bring a folding drainboard.Since there are few users, shampoos left behind in the spring are sometimes left there when you come in the summer. The manager who comes to collect the money comes late in the evening, so there is no problem if you check in in the morning (ordinarily, check-in starts at 1:00 p.m., so it's not a good idea), but there are lawn mowings in the morning, so the locals Please be careful as there may be a bunch of people. On the other hand, light trucks may gather before checkout.By the way, each site has a power source, but please note that it cannot be used unless the administrator is present. The toilets are clean, so you can rest assured. It's perfect for people who want to enjoy a quiet camping experience. However, the facilities are well-equipped, the tents are easy to set up, and there are a variety of things for sale at the shop, so it's not suitable for people who are particular about baths and showers, hate dogs, and hate nature, mountains, rivers, the outdoors, solitude, and starry skies.

It's really rich in nature, and it seems like it was almost reserved due to the reports of natural disasters, so we were able to spend the day relaxing and forgetting the time with just us and one other group. (Clock, no 🛜) That seems to be the selling point. There are three cottages in the camping facility, and there is a beautiful river with surprisingly warm water, making it a place where everyone from young children to adults can have fun.The shallowest part is around your ankles, but there are some places where the water is about 1m70cm deep, so a float is fine, but if you want to have fun and play safely, a life jacket is essential. The children had fun diving in and creating their own games. There were many river fish and shrimp, and we also discovered strange creatures that we didn't know about, so there were many good opportunities to interact with natural creatures. (I regret forgetting the net)My daughter was able to see a praying mantis shed its skin for the first time, and was amazed. At night, the sky was full of stars (we saw the Leodids meteor shower), and in the morning, we woke up to the sound of grasshoppers and deer's cries. The cottage is not equipped with air conditioning. There was a ceiling fan.It was a bit hot at night, but it was chilly at night and cool at 22 degrees Celsius in the morning, and there was a lot of morning dew, so I thought it would have been nice to have a light layer as I took a walk in the early morning. For those camping, the lawn is very clean and the plot site is also very clean (AC power supply installed). The communal toilet and shower room (100 yen for 3 minutes) were clean.Above all, there are no convenience stores or supermarkets nearby. It is better to be careful about your purchases. There are only Family Mart, Aco-op, and a roadside station along the way.The manager doesn't have any supplies on hand, so it's best to let him know in advance if you want to buy firewood or charcoal. The management center is Shiitake no Yakata, so please contact them there.

I used it for auto camping.Iiboshi Pass is a narrow and winding road that can cause motion sickness even for people who don't normally get sick. This is a campsite that only those who have overcome the trials can reach (lol)As for the facilities, there are sites with kitchens, showers, flush toilets, and electricity. However, there is only one shower room, and when you open the door, it seems like a private toilet room. It was a small shower with no changing room, so I had a hard time getting dressed. If you have the time, I think it would be better to go to a nearby hot spring. The toilet is spacious and clean, but I noticed spider webs and dead insects, but what bothered me more was that the lighting time of the sensor lights was too short! ! This was so fast it was laughable. When I turned around, it was already gone.It might be scary for children because it disappears while they are doing their jobs. It's not good to leave the lights on, but I thought it would be possible to make the lighting time a little longer. It's nice to have something to talk about though. It's cool because it's surrounded by trees and you can play in the river, so I think it's a good place to escape the heat.3 stars due to poor access and plumbing. It would be nice to have a tunnel.

It was my second time using it.There are 3 cottages and 3 tent sites. The cottage is equipped with almost all cooking utensils, including a rice cooker. It's convenient because you can park your car right next to it.The tent sites are spacious and have power outlets. There will be no electricity for cooking etc. unless you apply for use. There were anglers who used it without permission, so I guess it's a preventive measure. The grounds are large and there is a mountain stream right next to it, so you can fish and play in the river, so I think it's great for families with children. There are no supermarkets nearby, so we recommend stocking up on them in advance. It's deep in the mountains and the roads are quite windy, but it's a nice place to relax.

Lodges with wood stoves are the best ✨Recommended for winter! For lodge userssome stuff・Wood stove, rice cooker, pot, gas stove (2 burners, fish grill included), refrigerator, kettle, pots, frying pans (large), tableware (rice bowls, bowls, serving plates, cups common in restaurants, large flat plates, etc.) Small bowls, teacups), kitchen detergent, sponge, low table, foot wiping matThings you don't have, things you should bring・Soap, shampoo, towel, hair dryer, cushion, seasoning set, soup plate, cup, chopsticks, fork, iron pot, skillet, trivet (if cooking on a wood stove), lighter, trivet, slippers, etc.Hot water comes out from the water heater. Firewood for a wood stove is extremely cheap at 300 yen per bundle. It is better to have at least 4 bundles. The closest shopping is in the center of Morotsuka Village, about a 40 minute drive. There's Family Mart, A Co-op, and a small farm direct store.

``Machu Picchu of Kyushu'' has wonderful natural beauty. The local people also responded kindly. Once you cross the mountain pass from Gokase Town, it's close. The road can also be separated just in time. However, a four-wheel drive might be better.
